His son will be a senior next year, which could be a determining factor in any decision he makes.Does he want to move his son and have him start over again.If he waits till his son graduates someone will inherit an awesome junior and senior class, unless they leave before then.

It's possible La Porte could be 6A in 2026 also.I drove through the area last week and monster complexes coming up.Don't know the boundaries but 146 is spouting.

Surprised My neighborhood team ran up 68 points on them.That's a little out of character of them,Koopman would never do That.Never thought Angleton would run up 80 on em" either.But what do you do, throw the ball out of bounds.

If Crosby wins tonight the #4 playoff team will be determined Nov 1 game between Friendswood and Kingwood Park.Friendswood's chances relies on if Mikey Butler or Jeffrey Randle stays healthy at QB.If Kingwood Park beats Crosby who knows who will be the 3rd or 4th seed.Stay tuned !

I wasn't at the game but if #9 was Friendswood's QB,he is their 3rd QB this year because of injuries.He started the year as their JV QB.

Way too much to nothing at all.I have watched both of these teams play Friendswood against Marshall and Crosby against Baytown Lee and it's sad what is taking place in Crosby.Marshall's QB ( 6'6 ) will set in the pocket and throw to Ferguson and Feast on quick throws and then air one long all night.Unless Windfont is used in a blitzing scheme he will be a non factor.Friendswood played them close because they used a SMART offensive scheme against them.I've been a Crosby supporter for 15 years or more and can't ever remember seeing such a badly coached Cougar team.Crosby has a sophomore and freshman class I think will be awesome if the right coaching staff is in place.The kids deserve better. 

Fort Bend Marshall 27 Friendswood 23. A fake Punt turned it around for Marshall in the third Quarter( I Think third Quarter.)Johnson was erratic throwing the ball the 1st half but was on all cylinders the 2nd half.

Friendswood had a good game plan to run the ball but it seemed the offensive line tired in the second half.Friendswood ran a quick play attack and caught Fort Bend off Guard.

Johnson is a HuGE QB and has some nifty small receivers ( Ferguson ) was one.On a bad note Fort bend lost a receiver who was take by ambulance.

Friendswood lost their QB ( Butler ) around the start of the 4th quarter.Had a terrible limp, don't know extent of injury.Friendswood always seem to come to play hard.Marshall 's speed and Johnson arm was too much

I,and many others don't think she will loose any sleep on the down fall of the football program.He's still here, isn't he.

A very unemotional performance by the Cougars.More emotion on the Lee side from their Coaches when time after time Crosby secondary was beat by the same play over and over again and their defense stumped any momentum by the Cougars offense..Anytime defensive players are talking to each other or arguing with each other, confusion breeds defeat.

  Hats off to the Lee coaching staff, they had their kids ready to play and took advantage of a porous Crosby secondary whenever they needed to.Those mistakes are not hard to remedy.But is this coaching staff capable of turning that around.If not, another long season for this Cougar team and a great fan base that was there and left looking bewildered.

On a bright note the Crosby freshman team has some really bright spots, some nice overall size and 2 maybe 3 deep at the running back position.Will a Willis coaching staff bring this bunch along,I personally have my doubts.

On the JV side, if they can correct getting the snap out of the dirt, the QB can throw a nice ball.Some nice hitting on the defensive side.Lee had the biggest kid on the field at qb and hurt Crosby's defense with the run.

Can someone from Crosby tell me where the Scrimmage is .This forum is saying it's in Crosby and Crosby high school and their website says it is in Baytown.Thanks for a verification.

I had the best game of my high school career in that stadium in 1971,but we still lost.Will the Dairy Queen stay in place? Great for the Bulldog Nation .

We had a lot of talent last year and it looked like we didn't have any. Still running a scheme that relies heavily on great offensive line play vs the speed and angles schemes under Rio and Prieto. This year we have some of the best back 7 talent on defense since the Pickney and Perry days but the scheme is so complicated that I wouldn't be surprised to see the thought process paralyze some of their play-making ability for a second consecutive year. Yarbrough isn't really the between the tackles runners we've used to keep defenses honest in past years and Willis likes to hammer it in there whether it's working or not. I think we can supplement that by giving the Walter-like sophomore carries at the B-back position but didn't see a lot of that in the Spring. One positive is that T'Zion Fontenot moved back from Las Vegas this Summer and looks to be in good position to lock down his cousin's old spot at the A-back once he learns the offense. That gives us three high-quality play-makers out of the backfield if we can keep everybody healthy. 

On paper we look good, but we looked good both physically and on paper last year too and won two games. I'm hoping another year in the system was all the kids needed to play up to their ability because if we struggle again this season I think the supt. will be under even more heat than she was last year.
