Apparently Coach, some of the locals don’t appreciate a good defensive player. Like when Ltown held Bridges of LCM down to 8 points when he was Avg about 28 a game. A good defender is worth his/her weight in gold.
I think you all are missing what I'm really saying. My guess would be that PNG and BH both don't have D1 caliber players but yet they shut down a D1 prospect. All I'm saying is a D1 player doesn't let someone shut them down. No excuse for BH or PNG to hold Hefner under double digits in scoring.
So what you are saying is that a kid in high school can’t have a phenomenal defensive night against a great B-ball player especially if they are from PNG or BH. Also, you are saying that Hefner is not a D1 player. Well if you have ever watched him play he is legit. His supporting cast had a bad night tonight and couldn’t take up the slake. Nederland is young and are just learning how to play when another team takes away their star player. But still give a kid praise when they deserve it.

When Nederland played BH who defended Hefner. They held him to 5 points....
Dude, what is your problem? Can you not accept the fact that Nail had a great defensive night against a great BBall player? I’m not degrading Hefner. Nail probably just played the defensive game of his life. And no , Nail is not my son. But I will give praise to a kid who deserves it.

Hefner having an off night or is PNG defending him well like BH did
Brady Nail did a hell of a job defensively against Hefner. PNG’s Trent Lee got hot and stayed hot. PNG out rebounded Ned. Nederland just not as talented as in the past but they never gave up and fought hard till the final buzzer.

Jerry may be waiting to see when New Orleans is through so he can see where Sean Payton stands. Jerry may have already struck a deal with Payton for all we know and can’t let Garret go just yet due to it would look suspicious.

How does a offensive line sack his QB?

If Riordan leaves Crosby’s football team will be non existent. No coach worth hiring would put his name in the hat for that position with all that’s happened in that school district.

Lauren Hantatty at PNG High School is the one who got this all together. She did a great job. ESPN was there as well as local stations.

This was an awesome event. The kids had fun as well as the fans. My son said he had a blast coaching the PNG kids.

I gotta catch a replay of this one. Won’t be nearly the same once you know the outcome but still have to see it.
Once you see it you'll see how bad LSU got screwed many times by the refs that helped a&m win that game. If I was Orgeron, not that it would change the outcome, but I would demand a review of that crew and accuse the crew with corruption and favoritism that aided the a&m win. I would demand that crew be suspended and not be allowed the officiate any champiinship games or bowl games the rest of the season.

I agree with this if it can help Lee finish a season. The problem I have with it is JJ said it. Shouldn't that be the coaches call?
In Dallas this is the coaches call.

This is not hear say. The guy was yelling that the o-line sucked and shouldn't be allowed on the field. Then started singleing out certain kids and berating them and that's when Faircloth went off on him. This comes from a person in the know and heard everything. This guy is lucky I wasn't near him. These young high school men bust their butts and work hard all football season. These coaches put in a lot of hours if their own time to help these boys get better. I think they all have done a great job of getting better through the season. So if any of you bleacher coaches think you can do better then go out there and spend the long hours the team puts in and lets see what you can do. If your not willing to put in those hours and not get paid a whole lot for it. Then sit down in the stands and keep your mouth shut or stay home and listen to the radio becausebi don't want to hear your stupid comments.
-
I don’t know what was said. My son was coming of the field and didn’t hear it. But for Faircloth to do that it had to be bad and probably going on for a while. If it was a lineman the guy was berating, he’s lucky Medlock didn’t go off.

Curious, how did BF know this fan 21 rows up was trashing a player and I'm curious what player
There was a fan sitting near the railing in the stands that said something. If it’s true he was bashing a player then Faircloth had every right to yell at him. The fan was escorted out after the incident. And no, they don’t need to have a parent teacher conference as you suggest. Just ban the fan from the stadium. People like you are the reason this world is soft today. Back in my day if the coach didn’t go after the guy in the stands for berating a kid, then another fan would take care of it.
-
Anybody know why Faircloth went off on somebody. Look like he was yelling at someone in the stands.
-
Well aware it was PNG that used it. I just thought coach Whataburger might want to borrow it for this game to help his team out. Sure didn’t help him turning in PNG right before we played him with accusations we used it to benefit our team.

BH QB is out the rest of the year with a broken collar bone is what I was told from a very reliable source.
-
The "Spindletop Blowout Bowl". No disrespect to United because ounce they really start getting this merger together United will be a team to reckon with. But, this year it will not be close. WB by 20 I say.
-
Next thing you know they are going to input a Halo Rule for the QB. If a Defensive player gets within 2 yards of the QB the play will be blown dead.
-
The roughing the passer penalties are getting ridiculous. What is a defensive player suppose to do? I guess the NFL should just require that the QB wear a red shirt during the game just like he does in practice so no one touches him. Aaronn Rogers said it's getting ridiculous. He said the game is the only place a QB can show his toughness and now they are pampering them in games also. I wish a couple of smartarse defensive guys would get to the QB, one grab him by the shoulders and the other grab him by the feet and gently set him down on the ground as not to harm him but treat him like a baby. The way this new penalty is being enforced has already changed the outcome of some games and have kept teams from winning games they should have. If this keeps up the new league that is going to start up may just put the No Fun League out of business or make them rethink their stupid rules. They aren't playing checkers out there. This is a collision sport and these guy knew it from the very first time they ever put on the pads. They choose to play this game and get paid lots of money to play it. It may sound sinister but injuries are a part of football. The players know they can be injured anytime they step on that field. If they want to eliminate or lower the risk of injury. Then take the pads off and give them flags.
