Due to weather concerns and Nederland having to cancel and play a DH at Ball. PNG will now play a doubleheader tonight in Crosby. First game starting at 5:00.

Don’t know if it’s true are not but, I’ve heard a rumor that PNG is looking to pass another bond to build a new Elementary school. Unlike some Nederland residents, not all, we try to give our kids a competitive advantage with up to date technology. The kids at Nederland deserve this too but some people just don’t care. I know of one school for sure has to keep getting repaired because of leaks when it rains and the AC doesn’t always work properly. Like I said before get the younger crowd out to the poles and get this bond passed. 

I call it like it is. I call a spade a spade, a coonass a coonass and a dumbass a dumbass.

I am a PNG alum and have a child in high school. But, I believe the kids of NISD deserve the upgrades and new school this bond is proposing. With all the success these kids have had in academics and athletics and the teachers and coaches the main reason. They deserve all and more then what this bond is proposing. This guy Reagan is on here to do nothing but rile up the older class and convince them it will hit there wallets hard. They need to know that people 65 and older are EXEMPT from this. But a lot don’t know and people like this bonehead Reagan convince them it does so they come out in droves to the polls. Meanwhile a number of the younger class say they don’t have time to get to the polls so don’t go. If Nederland wants this bond to pass they better get the younger crowd to the polls and out vote the older class that have kept bonds from passing in previous years. I really would like to see this bond pass because the teachers and KIDS deserve better equipment and facilities.

What time is the game Friday?

This is a horrible situation and the boy should be significantly punished for his wrong doing. But, how is the SCHOOL DISTRICT responsible for the kid distributing the video? This is ridiculous.

I’m not one to grip much but if your a Texas team don’t come play in Louisiana. Talk about home cooking. Barb beat PNG 6-1 but the umps sucked.

Get the Russians involved in the vote. It will pass then.

I’ll be shocked if this bond passes with the athletic upgrades in. Nederland needs new schools bad and they haven’t passed a bond yet for new schools with upgrades to the athletic facilities.

I think you all are missing what I'm really saying. My guess would be that PNG and BH both don't have D1 caliber players but yet they shut down a D1 prospect. All I'm saying is a D1 player doesn't let someone shut them down.  No excuse for BH or PNG to hold Hefner under double digits in scoring. 

So what you are saying is that a kid in high school can’t have a phenomenal defensive night against a great B-ball player especially if they are from PNG or BH. Also, you are  saying that Hefner is not a D1 player. Well if you have ever watched him play he is legit. His supporting cast had a bad night tonight and couldn’t take up the slake. Nederland is young and are just learning how to play when another team takes away their star player. But still give a kid praise when they deserve it.

Dude, what is your problem? Can you not accept the fact that Nail had a great defensive night against a great BBall player? I’m not degrading Hefner. Nail probably just played the defensive game of his life. And no , Nail is not my son. But I will give praise to a kid who deserves it.

I never said Nail was a D1 defender. I just said he did a hell of a job defending Hefner. When Nail was defending him Hefner couldn’t get going. I was just giving Nail kudos for playing a hell of a defensive game tonight.

Brady Nail did a hell of a job defensively against Hefner. PNG’s Trent Lee got hot and stayed hot. PNG out rebounded Ned. Nederland just not as talented as in the past but they never gave up and fought hard till the final buzzer.

Jerry may be waiting to see when New Orleans is through so he can see where Sean Payton stands. Jerry may have already struck a deal with Payton for all we know and can’t let Garret go just yet due to it would look suspicious.

If Riordan leaves Crosby’s football team will be non existent. No coach worth hiring would put his name in the hat for that position with all that’s happened in that school district.

Lauren Hantatty at PNG High School is the one who got this all together. She did a great job. ESPN was there as well as local stations.

This was an awesome event. The kids had fun as well as the fans. My son said he had a blast coaching the PNG kids.
