As of yesterday morning, most of the turf at PNG has been laid. They just had the sides left. 

They must know something about Sumlin we don't.

PNG started laying turf today on the baseball field. Softball field will be done after the baseball field is complete. Softball field will not take as long provided weather cooperates.

They should be laying turf at PNG within the week provided no rain. But there are several days they say it will. If that's the case then we are looking mid February for baseball field and softball field end of February.

No. I'm tired of people getting on here and making stupid statements that are not  necessary. I was just trying to congratulate a hometown boy for something well deserved and of course here comes the stupid comments about Big 12 and its followers. This has nothing to do with the BIG 12 or the SEC. it is about a hometown guy doing well for himself. If you are going to start trying to make this a big deal about that then don't  comment.

Yea, I know. But he moved to Groves when he got married and his kids graduated from PNG.

The head Ref for the National Championship game is from Groves, Texas. Great guy and very good Ref. Glad to see him moving up. Might see him in the NFL some day.

I've heard that Neumann knows the new Kelly AD pretty well.

Maybe but I doubt it. Bonds can't get passed to upgrade schools much less sports facilities. Now days that is a big draw. No big name coach will put in,unless he is alumni and wants to come home, if you cant get things up dated. Monte is the best suited for thus job and if they don't find a way to give it to him then the new superintendent is an idiot. She is from the outside though.

Vidrine may not even see the bump. They have Lane and Lebouf are both pumping high 80's low 90's and Petix is ok. B. Morris's can chunk and so can Lejune. There are also a couple of sophomores that can hit mid 80's. Bost can bring it and so can McGowan. There are a couple more that may surprise people but I haven't seen them throw since last season.

PNG has plenty of pitching buddy. If they come through it won't matter who's on the mound. They just need to hit.

I think Monte deserves it but if he doesn't have a masters and it's required then they will have to go outside. The NISD would not approve the separation of the AD/HC and pay two salaries.

What will the Cowboys do with Romo? Will they trade him or restructure his contract? If they trade him, can they get much of anything for him with his long list of injuries and the severity of them with his age being a concern also. Cowboys may not be able to get what they expect. So, what do they do? Trade him and take what they can get or tell him to suck it up take a cut in salary and have one of the best backups in the NFL or will he surprise everybody and retire?

I don't know why they went out and hired this guy. Especially with the financial situation they are in. Ensminger seemed to do a good job with the offense. To me it improved tremendously from the boring and very predictable offense Cam Cameron ran.

Exactly. Not saying what Briles did was right. But this kid should have had his scholarship revoked in my opinion. Why does Stoops keep his job and Briles get fired. Stoops did basically the same thing Briles did and over looked a horrible situation. Oh yea, Mixon was suspended for a year but he will think because that's all that happened he totally got away with it. You watch, after he leaves school it will come out that someone paid her or threatened not to press charges.

From what I understand is he really wants Texas. But we'll see.
