I would believe they will open it up. WHo knows somebody unbelievable may throw in on it

Maybe but I doubt it. Bonds can't get passed to upgrade schools much less sports facilities. Now days that is a big draw. No big name coach will put in,unless he is alumni and wants to come home, if you cant get things up dated. Monte is the best suited for thus job and if they don't find a way to give it to him then the new superintendent is an idiot. She is from the outside though.

  2. Vidrine may not even see the bump. They have Lane and Lebouf are both pumping high 80's low 90's and Petix is ok. B. Morris's can chunk and so can Lejune. There are also a couple of sophomores that can hit mid 80's. Bost can bring it and so can McGowan. There are a couple more that may surprise people but I haven't seen them throw since last season.

  3. What will the Cowboys do with Romo? Will they trade him or restructure his contract? If they trade him, can they get much of anything for him with his long list of injuries and the severity of them with his age being a concern also. Cowboys may not be able to get what they expect. So, what do they do? Trade him and take what they can get or tell him to suck it up take a cut in salary and have one of the best backups in the NFL or will he surprise everybody and retire?

  4. Exactly. Not saying what Briles did was right. But this kid should have had his scholarship revoked in my opinion. Why does Stoops keep his job and Briles get fired. Stoops did basically the same thing Briles did and over looked a horrible situation. Oh yea, Mixon was suspended for a year but he will think because that's all that happened he totally got away with it. You watch, after he leaves school it will come out that someone paid her or threatened not to press charges.

For sure, knew PNG was going be tough when ya'lls group got up to high school. Just proving my thoughts. Ya'll should be good the next 4 or 5 years for sure. Might go the game Friday.

We are thinking about going to the game and if we do I'll be sure to let you know and we'll get together and meet somewhere.

Those were the good old days. My son was on that team as well. When I heard it was Gavin that was the Freshman ya'll brought up, I  knew fans were going to be in for an eye opening experience.

Those were the good ole days buddy. All but 2 of the sophomores on varsity were on those teams along with Gavin. Add the other talented kids in and they wonder why we were in the Super Bowl so many years. Times like those are fun to reminisce about.

  7. You must not have been around in the late 90's. I think Long was a damn good offensive minded guy who knew how to take control of an offense. How many other coaches can teach a teenager, albeit it was his son, to call his own plays and be successful. That takes someone special. He left because he wanted to adjust the offense according to what talent he had each year and Burnett would not let him after Dustin left. If Long would have stayed and allowed to do his thing PNG would have been very successful as long as he was there IMO.

  8. This will be a big game for our defense. The QB for College Station is a legit dual threat. They are a bigger team and faster then we are. But our boys play with more heart and they have the pride and tradition behind them and playing at a stadium that favors us. Just play your hearts out young men and you got this. We as fans have your back.
