Well, Liberty Hill averaged 57ppg this year, including dogging out some 6As, and was one point away from the title game running the .  .  . (clears throat) .  .  . slot-T. Buda Hays made the semis against Katy running it this year and SA Wagner was in the 5A-D1 semis against Shadow Creek running it in 2019. So there's precedent for running it with success in the higher classifications. BH definitely has better overall athletes than LH does.

No disrespect to Walker at Liberty Hill but Jerry Vance is the coach who turned LH into the program it is now. Walker has done a great job of maintaining it.....FYI Jerry Vance was in the hat when PNG hired Fairclothe.

  2. Coach Carter is a great man. I am very glad my son had the privilege to play for him. Those that talk bad about the man don’t truly know him. He is all about the kids he is coaching. He challenges them constantly makes them work, something some of these kids don’t know how. If you want it he will he will reward you. If you go half a__ and don’t put in the work and expect to play just because of who you are. Well, less just say you will need a pad for your butt because you will have a lot of pine time.

Be on the ground he is a senator of Texas.  think he might want to do whatever he can to help. Talking bout libs Beto Castro bros hell in you all favorite AOC is doing more for Texas.

If it wasn’t a issue why fly back why throw your own kids under the bus. Now watch he start fundraising and have boots on ground with camera team to change the narrative.

    TED is the ultimate politician.

All he could do is push for disaster relief and that’s already been done. He can’t go and work on power lines or generators or fix busted pipes. Oh, wait, he can go help pour water on the already frozen windmills and solar panels the dumba__ libs are saying they want to start using for our powers sources.

  4. Well, considering Cruz is neither an electrician or plumber or construction worker. What the hell is he supposed to do for us in this mess. Gov. Abbott is the person that makes the final decisions on what to do to get Texas up and going again. These local leaders know what they need to do and how they need to do it. Abbott and the Texas Congress committees go after the power services for not being prepared and not having a backup plan. So what the hell is wrong Cruz taking a little vacation with his daughters. What do you think Cruz should be doing? Especially since he’s been dealing with a bunch of idiots (libs) in D.C. for so long.

  5. I agree with you 100% but it’s not going to happen. I watched just about every state game of 5A and 6A. Every school had a least 1 kid playing both ways. One team, can’t remember which one, had a kid that played receiver and corner. He had two TD’s receiving and two picks on D. If those teams can do it and play more games and play for State there is no excuse why PNG can’t except that Fairclothe won’t let it happen because more parents would b__ch about their kids not playing. This is one of the reasons why. Not playing kids both ways means there is 22 spots open for 22 kids. Welcome to PNG where little Johnny doesn’t even know how to put his pads on right but deserves playing time because mommy demands it or she will go to the superintendent.

Defense has to improve. We probably played the best defense in the state the night we played Fort Bend Marshall (and easily our best defense of the last 15 years against anyone) but the rest of the season was among the worst defense of our last 15 years. We've played plenty of bad defense, but this season was something else.

Fairclothe will not play kids both ways and most of his best athletes will be on offense unless it’s a desperate measure to save a game. Remember when his first year here he had Kroeker as his DC. Had a jam up defense and had a great season. The next year a lot of kids off that defense graduated and they were left with like 2 returning starters. Kroeker started trying to replace kids and was told offense takes precedence and Kroeker would have to make up his defense with what was left. Ended up not as good of a defense and Kroeker said if that’s the way it’s going to be then bye. It wasn’t because Kroeker and his wife needed to be closer to family.

I believe What Hurt Herman is he was very stubborn and stuck in his ways, he basically got in his own way. It was either his way or the highway and that also hurt him in game time decision and play calling.I beleiev Herman could have been a good coach but he was just to stuck in his ways and didnt want to swallow his pride. Sark is the total opposite due to his previous endevours which I feel like will help him more than hurt him. I believe he needs to find a DC that can play the Bad cop role..He will be a players coach like Mack but I think he will be a better X's and O's guy.

His staff will make or break him.

This and the fact players were negatively recruiting telling recruits not to come here. There’s more to this then is let out I believe. Herman became very cocky and arrogant and a little birdie told me he had pretty much lost the locker room.

  8. With Crosby’s speed on Defense, they won’t allow some of the big runs LH scored on against Pioneer. Crosby need to study a lot of film and figure out they key read to look for where the ball is going. My nephew played for LH 4 years ago. It took a little while to catch on but there is a key to this offense to locate the ball. I’m not going to tell you because Crosby needs to put in the work to figure it out. If they do they can win this pretty handedly
