and on top of that, my great grandmother could've taken that shot and stayed in the game. he must have a really thin skull or something. pittman appeared to only graze him with an open hand. it wasn't like he laid a fat punch straight to his chin.

you didn't use the word "idiot". you just implied it. you're more than welcome to express an opinion on here, but don't start making excuses when your opinion is proven wrong (like when texas won after you called texas fans naive and clueless for picking them to win), or start calling people ignorant when they call you on it. you were quick to dish it out when you thought you were right, but you didn't want to take it when you were proven wrong. the tone of your original post is what made me come after you to begin with. when you talk to/about people a certain way, they're going to be quite happy to turn the tables when given the chance. right now, we naive, clueless texas fans have all the ammunition we need. my first post to you after the game was done in good fun, but since you got a bit pissy with me, i've been more than happy to go back and forth with you, especially when the scoreboard has already proven me right. all that aside, feel free to always express your opinions on here. that's all i've been doing. i can tell from your posts on this forum and others as well that you know what you're talking about most of the time, and there have been plenty of times that i've agreed with you. don't take anything personal, just enjoy the board for what it's worth. i'm sure there will be a time when you'll feel it's necessary to make me eat my own words, and we can go at it again.

The amount of grammatical and spelling errors in your post are a pretty good indicator of who's actually "truly ignorant." It's also "truly ignorant" of you to miss my point, which is that it's pointless to play "what if" with the score, as Texas still gets credit for the win. it doesn't do any good to say "they would've won with Griffin", as he couldn't play. If you want to play that game, Texas fans might as well blame all of their losses this season on Durant and Augustin being in the pros. Other teams should not get any credit for beating Texas, because they would've won if they'd had AJ and Kevin. That's not how it works, and seeing as you're apparently the website's college hoops expert, you should know that a win against the #2 team in the nation is still a major accomplishment for the horns, whether or not Griffin was in or not. I realize that you really just want to feel superior to other people, but you've been "truly ignorant" on this thread. Here's the timeline of events: February 20, 2009, 07:23:31 scooter! predicts a longhorn win. February 20, 2009, 11:54:51 PM you essentially call scooter! an idiot for predicting the horns to win. February 21, 2009, 08:57:55 PM The longhorns win. February 22, 2009, 03:03:46 I call you out on it. February 22, 2009, 07:07:07 PM You make an excuse. February 22, 2009, 08:55:14 I call you out on it. February 22, 2009, 09:37:54 You call me "truly ignorant" twice. Right now I'm calling you out on it.

central has the better team. if they can finish with 11 players, they'll win the game. i'm guessing 3-1

we beat OU. what do you want? you basically said it was impossible, and told a texas fan to "get a clue" when he predicted Texas to win. Texas won. quit making excuses. Texas owned him while he was in the game anyway. it's certainly not Texas' fault that he got concussed when Pittman barely grazed his face with an open hand. I guess the win doesn't count since griffin was hurt. if that's the case, we should give Texas the win since they were playing without Augustin and Durant. if they had been available to play, Texas would've won by 20, Griffin or no Griffin.

shoe. mouth. now. ;D

if i'm not mistaken, warren CHOSE to go to OU instead of Texas. I'm pretty sure there was a scholarship in it for him if he wanted to come.
-
indeed. one bad offsides call/missed offsides call, or bad pk call or missed pk call can turn a game. (not to mention getting a ref who's bad the whole game)

i understand what you're saying... i don't think ya'll will win, but i'm not saying ya'll can't win. they're definitely the better team, but ya'll have some key players that are capable of keeping it close, and if you are able to do so, anything can happen. for example: my soph. year, we played lumberton 3 times. the beat us 8-1 the first game, 10-0 the second game, but the 3rd game we played "god-like" and beat them 2-1. so yes, anything can happen. lumberton's team this year is nowhere near as good as that lumberton team was back in the day, so that will help your chances.

that was pretty funny, but you forgot about his silsbee tiger underoos. -
they shut him down while he was in. if you want to put an asterick by this win for that, then put an extra one for willie warren playing what will quite possibly end up being the best game of his college career. if griffen HAD been in, Warren probably only goes for 15, and maybe the horns win anyway. Warren has scored over 30 points twice this year with Griffen in the game. You and I both know if Griffen plays, OU wins. I am glad tu won though. i honestly won't conceed that. i'll admit i was wrong about warren, but i won't say that the horns would've lost had griffen been in. he was shutdown for the whole first half, and he was in early foul trouble. the horns were actually at an advantage when he came back in because he was afraid to play defense, and they exploited it for several easy buckets. if they draw another foul on him early in the 3rd, he goes back out of the game anyway. griffen obviously gives the sooners a better chance to win, but it looked like the horns had a pretty good game plan for keeping him out of the game (not including Pittman keeping his pimp hand strong)

I see A&M going winless in Big 12 play next year in football. Willing to make a bet on that? Put your money where your mouth is. they get iowa st. this year? Wait a minute, wait a minute. You opened your mouth and said they would go winless. It shouldn't matter who they play. that wasn't me, that was gabe. but if they get iowa st, they're basically guaranteed a win. personally, i don't think they'll go .500 in conference, but they'll get a couple of wins. you never know though, they always have talented recruits, and any given year they could come back and have a quality season.
