1. for once we can agree... that's one hell of a performance!
 2. WOS is a very athletic team.  They aren't as polished as HJ, but they play hard and had the athletes to beat the press tonight and hold their own on the glass.  Turner was saddled with 3 fouls early in the 2nd quarter, Gus got hurt in the middle of the second quarter, and Sutherland didn't hit a shot all night.  HJ's bench came in and did a good job maintaining their lead going into the half.  Once the second started, WOS got hot from deep.  They hit three 3s in four possessions, and then made a couple of easy layups to take the lead.  #3 was incredible for them.  he hit at least 5 or 6 treys for them, many of which were contested.  the longball and solid freethrow shooting kept the mustangs in it, and they easily could've pulled this one out.  They played a really good game, and with HJ not at their sharpest, they were lucky to escape with a win.
 3. give him a break... at least he's not on unemployment :)
it's an old sunken barge in about 3 feet of water... he's lucky it was cold enough for him to wearing jeans though, or he might have been cut up a bit.  it's really a shame... it was my first time meeting the guy, so i wasn't really comfortable laughing at him yet.  next time, though, if he falls off/through/out of ANYTHING, and i'm going to take a few shots at him  ;D
I have caught a many flounder on the barges near the one I fell in.  I was explaining to the rookie(bullets) to be carefull and walk on the supports. About 2 minutes after my "lecture" I felt the earth move and I'm wet up to my azz.  I have to give Bullets credit, I would have fell out laughing.........
unfortunately for you, i have the grace and balance of a gazelle, and was never in danger of falling.

Are were you fishing for someone who actually knows something about the team to respond?
Actually Hup, I saw Tarkington play twice this season, at the EC tourney. I am sorry, I wasn't too impressed. But, if it makes you feel any better, they are better than they have been in the past. ;)
I hardly think you are qualified to talk about what Tarkington has been in the past and how this team compares to past teams.  Nevertheless, you gave the guy what he was looking for which was for someone to trash Tarkington.  Silsbee and HJ fans always seem eager to put down anyone else in 3A in the area.
You gotta be kidding he's probably seen more basketball this year than you ever have
yup, i'm willing to take AAW's word for it.
I guess they know trouble when they see it  :D
you're probably right.

 18. yates would win by 35 or 40.
 19. we were kicked out of two fishing places, and then kicked completely out of the water :)
 20. The US played well in the second half, especially considering being down a man.  the US hit the post and had one edge past it... they created good chances.
 21. 3-1, Clarence Goodson with a goal from a corner.
 22.
The USA has not had any good defending in alot of their matches lately.
to be fair, it's unlikely that any defender on the field tonight will see time in the world cup for the US, while Honduras is playing a lot of guys who will start in the world cup for them.
 23. Robbie Rogers was unlucky to not score... he beat the keeper and pinged the post from about 35 out.
 24. must be playing at home.
 25. hopefully they'll put some serious money into it and bring in some pitching!
