it's one thing to tell a basketball team to slow the ball down, or drop out of the press.  this doesn't hurt the kids individually or as a team... to ask a baseball player to intentionally bomb his stats is a different matter.  there are a lot of ways to TRY and keep a baseball score reasonable, but asking a kid to intentionally strike out is too much.

This score is disappointing to me, but i don't know the circumstances of the game, and what measures (if any) that the Friendswood coach took to try and manage the score...  If he took serious steps to try to keep the score down, then there's not much to say.  if not, i have as little respect for him as i do for coach wise.  i will say this: when Friendswood sets the national record for consecutive 30 run games by intentionally running up the score on every opponent they face, all of you Wise-supporters can make a realistic argument about double standards.

the way the horns played that second half, i really think they could've given Kentucky a game on Saturday.  What a waste.

Horns freethrows kill them in the end.  up 1 with 10 seconds left, Gary Johnson misses two freebies, and then Wake goes down and drills a jumper with 1 second left to win by one.  I have NO IDEA why J Brown passed the ball off to Johnson when he was about to get fouled to begin with!
