If someone on the left posted an article on here, and 3 or 4 people got on here and agreed with it without verifying, and then someone on the right did 10 seconds of research and discovered the article was made up or misrepresented the truth, what would you guys be saying? "Look at the low information voters, believing everything the read." You and I both know that this works both ways.

by giving the impression that the United States will be paying a $50B signing bonus to Iran? By wording their title and article in such a way to give the impression that the US will be using US funds to give Iran an insane amount of money, the author of this "news piece" has ensured that people of your ilk will be angered and pass it on, whether it's factual or not.

She had previously held an officer for the town, so it's more than possible that they know her and her work habits well enough to know they don't want to work under her.

Most communities are making this effort. Even the Ferguson chief said as much. We want them, but they won't apply or don't qualify.

Buddy, towns are BEGGING for applicants of minority races. the problem is they don't want the job, they can't pass the test, or they already have backgrounds that exclude them. Applicants from Port Arthur get seven extra points on the test JUST FOR BEING FROM PORT ARTHUR. considering the racial makeup of PA, that's a pretty clear effort to make it easier for minorities to get hired. but you can't hire people who wont apply, you can't hire people who can't pass a basic reading comprehension test, and you can't hire people who already have criminal backgrounds. With that said, a good number of PA's younger officers are black and Hispanic.
