Should've either done this from the beginning and let it run it's course, or waited another month or two when everyone is vaccinated. This timing is dumb as far as I'm concerned. I get that y'all hate masks, and that's great, but at this point why throw caution to the wind this close to the finish line. We've dealt with this for a year, and are literally weeks away from having everyone vaccinated that wants to be. But whatever. We'll see how it plays out with spring break coming up. Don't start whining when the hospitals fill back up and LOCAL government institutes the same rules that have been in place for the last year.

I have a strong interest in six upcoming games between our local boys and girls, and every single one of them is at 7:00 tonight. HJ girls, Silsbee Boys, Huffman Boys, BU girls, BU boys, HD boys. It's a shame they didn't end up staggered. I even got Texan live. Doesn't do much good in this case.

AP should be 2 or 3, but you’re absolutely right, that is why they play the games. IMO AP is 10-15 points better than flatonia. But HD has certainly peaked at the right time and have beaten a couple of very good teams, although not THIS good. I’ll certainly be pulling for you guys. I’d love to be proven wrong.

Don’t disagree with this either. What’s funny to me is that trump is ultra-moderate. He’s basically been a Democrat his whole life. I’ve never understood the steadfast devotion to him from the furthest right OR the seething hate for him from the furthest left. I don’t think he did a bad job as president. The economy improved, he took strides to improving our military and foreign policy, and if we’re honest, he didn’t really do anything that was so ultra-right that it should’ve had the left in an uproar. But he talked too much, and made too many moderate swing voters hate him. I have a very diverse group of friends, and the ones who voted blue weren’t singing Biden’s praises, they simply hated Trump.

Look, I don’t disagree with you. But if trump hadn’t spent the entire presidency coming off as an arrogant windbag it wouldn’t have been as easy to convince people. I 1000% believe that if trump didn’t have a Twitter account he would’ve been re-elected comfortably.

I voted for Trump, but couldn't stand the guy. 8 years ago I would've voted against him simply to vote against him. He's a blowhard. Now I've moved far enough right that I can't vote for a democrat. People who are blinded by the the orange light seriously fail to see how many people got out to vote AGAINST Trump rather than for Biden. It was a whole lot of people.

sadly, no. I believe this is the end of the road. Port Aransas is 7th in the state and should be higher. they're 25-4 and their 4 losses are to Aransas Pass (#8 in 3A, 27-2 record), single digit losses to London twice (#4 in 3A, 23-2 record) and a single digit loss to Flour Bluff (3 rounds deep in the 5A playoffs, 23-3 Record). I'm pulling for you guys, but this team is one of the 3-4 best teams in the state in 2A.

I'll take BU by 11. 3 of Hendrickson's 4 losses are to 6A playoff teams with solid records. they're 25-4. They're in the regional semis. They don't suck. But yes, they've had an easy playoff road to this point.
