An interesting matchup at this point in the season. BC has a bigger D-Line than CL and Liberty. But Huffman does not depend on size up front. Same as last year,
Huffman offense can put up some points. They have quite a bit of team speed and are making plays when they need them.
The defense hasn't seen a good rushing attack yet but tackle well and close very quickly. The secondary is good.
I am certainly biased so I expect Huffman to win. Will the defense pitch another shutout? 3 in a row would be some rare air. Not likely but definitely possible.
42-7 Huffman.
This is a pretty good assessment. I agree with this a lot. I think BC only chance is to control clock, keep HH offense on sideline for as long as possible and that will take a LOT of 1st downs and sustaining multiple drives - which will be tough too because HH defense is stout as well

Crazy story. Gotta wonder...what the hell they were thinking? They had to know they would be found out. But at least it just exposes another arena where ESPN is just a hack network who is just the big boy on the block, thinks everything is just given to them without their due diligence...

Very sad news. Always looked forward to his steady, fair and honest opinions on multiple topics on this board. Never met him, but he was the type that you didn't have to formally meet, to know his character was top tier....RIP and prayers for his family

Good read, but to think the system works because the small number of ineligibility, well I think that's a little disingenuous. I also think the idea of district committees having the ultimate vote could sometimes prove to be a little conflicting.

Sweet. Way to go BH. Great comeback.

Congrats Liberty Lady Panthers! Awesome season
-
Great comeback after committing all those errors in the second. Congrats Lady Panthers. Regional champions

They’re currently in a lengthy rain/lightning delay. They are giving it until 10:30 to attempt to restart tonight, if not tomorrow at noon to finish game two, then game 3 about 45 minutes following if needed.
liberty up 6-2 in top of 4 and still batting.

Got some big shoes to fill, but I imagine he can handle it. I wish coach DeBerry well, but I aint gonna lie, I aint mad he's not gonna coach against us (Liberty) anymore. Dude is a great coach.

Looking at the weather for next week, this may become a one game series.
I agree, weather will play havoc in most se Texas locations this week. Kinda feel like this benefits Orangefield for this series. HJ has one of the deepest pitching staffs around. A 1 game series makes this a toss up in my opinion.

Liberty wins game 2.
12-0. For the regional quarter final
