I saw this coming, its called game planning and planning one game at a time, i saw woodville twice this yr, and there first option is feed the post and all you gotta do is  clamp on the post front and back and thats what hardin did, take that away and  make them shoot it from the outside

If game planning is so easy, why cant the boys teams do it?
Not wanting to argue here, but game planning was only a part of this win.  The girls had a whole lot to do with it as well.

basketball..dont know it..ha..no comment...and why is it you'll?? why is it that i have to be from woodville....but woodville has been faced with this defense all year..as a matter of fact thats all this team have been faced with so before u come on here blogging about what u dont know get your facts straight...like i said it was nothing spectacular hardin did woodville had an off game...like i also said im not taking anything from the lady hornets one heck of a game but it wasnt them that beat woodville they beat themselves. and if im not mistaken Bucof2010 stated that woodville was made look silly in one forum but all on another forum rooting for the eagles before this game was played...East Chambers you guys are crzy. :D

You're not taking anything away from Hardin, huh?
A little contradictory don't you think?

I happen to know the Hardin assistant coach quite well.  They went to Silsbee to meet Woodville with an unbelievable amount of confidence.  I thought she was crazy as well, but they believed they could do it, and they went in there and did it.  Simple as that.
3. Formerhornet can't help it folks, his wife told me about his "little problem" in the bedroom. This would drive anyone to be in a bad mood all the time.

lmao

Thats funny.

Footballplayer and formerhornet sound like little jealous school kids to me.  They know very little about the game. No sense in arguing with em.

Side note:

I'd sure like to see either one of them (or both) line up against him.

Good luck to Mitch in whatever he decides to do.

4. Well if we're comparing him to local kids who "could of been" I'll take a crack at it i don't think he can play for a major D1 but he will play college football just compare him to TYLER COPELAND (6'4 215 4.6 end of senior year bench 260) he got looked at by big names but wasn't good enough to play for them so he ended up at SAM HOUSTON which is a D1 but not a major D1 like yall are talking about so NOWAY this kid can play major D1 football

as for "can play many positions" argument Tyler Copeland could play QB, TE, LB, DE, FS that kid knew football and not at major D1

So your argument is, that if Copeland didn't go major D1 (FBS), that Villamez can't.  Are you serious?

5. Yes he can fake a throw to third. As far as the catcher, all I can figure is since there was no catchers box lined off, the umpire must have felt that if he went outside of this then he would have been out of the catchers box which would result in a balk if he is outside of the box when the pitch is delivered. Other than that I can not understand why he would tell the catcher that.

If he gets too much further, then the umps protection goes with him.  I wouldn't let him get too far either. lol...

6. I agree that this particular play wouldn't have necessarily changed the outcome, but i disagree on the fact of how many yards the QB would have had. He was all alone headed down the field, the whole defense took the fake and was headed the other way. The worst part of it all, oafter the ref blew the call and he knew he blew the call,  he had the nerve on the very next play, which also resulted in a first down inside the 10, to call an illegal formation penalty on us. I'm not taking anything away from New Waverly, they were impressive, but they also only had 100 yards more offense than Hardin, we just couldn't put the ball in the endzone the 5 or 6 times we were inside the 20. Hardin is young, very young, look for them in the playoffs again next year. Also, good luck to New Waverly the rest of the way.

The same official made all 4 horrible calls on the Hornets.  On BOTH illegal formation calls, he called a player on the OTHER side of the field, to be on the line of scrimmage.  He also called an unsportsman like on Haynes (on the 2nd illegal formation), in which the head official told him to put his flag back up.

7. Hardin gets it down to the five yard line and it gets called back on an inadvertant whistle.  Freakin bull s**t.

now now play nice

The ref actually thought stelly had the ball up the middle when he went down, he blew the whistle, meanwhile, villamez is in the middle of running for about 40 yards down to the 5 yard line.  Not much excuse for that, just not being a very good ref.

I still find it intresting that people think officiating doesn't play into the outcome of sporting events.  This is absolutely a good example of not letting the players decide the outcome of a game.

Who knows, might not of meant anything, but you'll never know.

Just a shame.

And I know he didn't do it on purpose, just aggrivating...
