This is the same for a vast majority of schools across the state… I agree athletics isn’t the be all end all… For Warrens case it’s more of they just don’t have the athletes to compete at a higher level and that’s ok and there is nothing wrong with that. Could they be more competitive with the right coaches? Yeah it’s possible. But someone answer me this… when is the the last time Warren made it to the 3rd round in Football, volleyball, Girls or boys basketball, baseball, or softball?

That’s good… I was wondering about EC… looking at district 9 they predict Palestine Westwood 3rd and Fairfield 4th… I think Westwood is underrated and will be tough to stop from scoring… Also for those wondering the pre season defensive player of the year in district 10 is Orangefield LB Kaleb Menard… offensive is Coldspring RB Tyga Parker

Who knows what will happen as this season plays out.. but looking at preseason predictions I’d say Anahuac is probably the only team from district 10 that wins in bi district

Speed is a nice thing to have for sure… but it isn’t everything… Faster… more athletic teams lose in the playoffs all the time. With that said Newton will make a deep playoff run for sure don’t get me wrong.

That would mean really good things if Newton football players were trying to represent the USA women’s track team lol
