Didn’t know he is headed to UTEP! Bellville has a LB headed there and has a OL with a offer from them as well… Gonna be pulling double duty while at Bellville games and having the Silsbee game on my phone as well this year.

I really think Silsbee is in a great spot heading into the season… I really like this team

Now that we have access to the preseason rankings and we are trying to get through this last month or so before football gets going I wanted to open up this discussion … What team or teams in y’all’s opinions will run through a gauntlet this season based off their schedules and pre season rankings? What team in your opinion’s will have the toughest slate this year?

DCTF District Projections 1. Orangefield 2. East Chambers 3. Hardin 4. Anahuac 5. Coldspring 6. Kirbyville 7. Buna Interesting that Orangefield’s LB Kaleb Menard is a pre season 3A All State pick but the pre season district defensive MVP pick is LB Kolby Jones of East Chambers… Could just be one of those accolades they won’t award both to one player kinda thing. No team from this district was in the Pre Season 3A D1 Top 25 rankings.

It was Ft Bend Crawfords first varsity season… all Freshman-Juniors I believe

Well that doesn’t hurt lol Mainly it was their O line and D line play last year that will need to grow in the off season… Obviously no seniors on the team last year helps tremendously as well…

Curious how big of a step forward Crawford takes from last years first varsity season… I think they have a few solid skill position guys and should grow more in the trenches. They definitely don’t shy away from playing some tough teams though.

After seeing this years DCTF pre season rankings this region appears to be loaded again. My initial thought is my Brahmas are too high and Silsbee should be higher. But for the topic of discussion here are the ranked teams in region 3! #3 Waco La Vega #5 Sealy #6 Bellville #8 West Orange Stark #11 Silsbee #16 Hamshire Fannett #18 Robinson #22 Brookshire Royal

Correct… but no one said they were unbeatable… just that they would be favorites

I know it was just 7 on 7…. But based off what happened last week at the state 7 on 7 and Matt being there then he probably got a good view of what they have skill position wise… Hopefully we will see… but solid chance these two ain’t playing in the state semi finals.
