Congratulations from Woodville 

Our Woodville boys have played up to expectations. We knew coming into season we should make it this far. We face a uphill challenge in Malakov 5 D1 signees . A challenge the boys look forward to. We are a young team only 3 seniors.  Hopefully coaching will earn their pay and get us to the 5th round. Orange field has the best chance advancing. We beat Rusk earlier in the season. They are average without their ace pitcher. Buna also stands a very good chance of advancing against Cameron.

No one in Woodville will take you up on it because of what has happened the last 4 years. The athletic boosters are washing and waxing the corvettes to get them ready to circle the Walmart parking lot this summer.

Not necessarily. This just means we have Newton type talent and have had for the last 4 to 5 years. There are 2 very good years left . We will see if anything changes or not. Anything less than 4 rounds deep will be a failure and disappointment.

Lion has a point. We probably had a better more athletic and senior heavy team than now. We still have the same HC. The difference as always is coaching. We all see the talent and have since these kids were in pre school.  I am afraid that once again with all of the talent and speed that will be on the field it will be wasted.

Man I hope Newton doesn’t loose to someone they are not supposed to loose to on week 1.  In all reality that would end their season.

 Man it doesn’t take much to get y’all side tracked.haha If Newton is as focused as y’all are 35 will be easy. We just had more post on mugging robbery and fist fighting than Woodville having a championship quality team. Y’all are to funny 😄.

They will be as good as you can get in 2 years. Should win state then. After that it starts down hill a little. They will make a name for themselves next year.

Believe it or not Woodville has a solid squad. The kids just don’t beat themselves. Defense is the best it has been in years.

I agree the wac is not the answer. Ask any of the kids playing and the highlight of their careers is playing the big dogs. Who cares about playing Rio Grand valley, Chicago st or any of the rest that no one has heard of. Go FBS or stay where you are. SFA will jump to the first thing that comes along. They think they can be big hog at the trough with these glorified D2 schools.

If Raymond Woodard or Toby Forman were at Woodville. I would take the Eagles. All Freshmen and sophomores
