I agree , this should not be much of a contest. They will see speed, size and athleticism like they haven’t seen. The defensive line is on point. I can’t imagine the pressure that is on the coaches to blow this game out. Again this is the year if there ever has been 1 to make a trip to Jerry’s world. It is the Eagles year. No more excuses.

This is the easiest path forward Woodville has had in years. They should make it to the 3rd and 4th round.
-
This will be a dangerous game for Woodville. EC has the coaches to pick this bird clean. I see them taking advantage of a overly aggressive Defensive line and trying to turn it into a shoot out where they know Woodville will not be able to put up 50 + points . You are now at a point where it takes offensive genius to win games.

Have you ever seen a loser having fun.

I understand the frustration from our fans. Same song and dance. Another great group of kids with tremendous athletic ability to only go 2 rounds deep. I know everyone thinks it will be their group to go all the way but after this year it all goes down hill, you don’t replace D1 Athletes over night. I’ve just accepted the fact we are who we are. Hopefully we get there 1 day.

If you keep Woodville from scoring on Defense you stand a chance at winning.

When does Woodville get their props?
Only after a State championship, but don’t worry we will make it to the second round.

This game is being played way too early. Going to be a good one, Diboll gets better as the year progresses… with that being said. Woodville wins this one and wins the district title
I agree this is for the district championship If Diboll scores more than 40 they will be champions if it is a low scoring game Woodville wins.
-
As usual I end up seeing thing’s different than most. Defense is our strong suit. Problem is we can’t score and keep scoring. When the playoffs start it will take a team that can put up 50 + to come out on top. Diboll will score a lot of points . Franklin will be a different team next go round and Yoe will have the bugs worked out, so no props until we prove we can beat people by 60 and I’m not talking about the bottom 3 in our district.

Woodville had 5 starters out.

Rather than make a wild prediction, I will ask the good folks from WOS, Bridge city and Franklin to give a honest opinion of what they think the outcome of this game will be. They are the only ones who have seen our team this year. My opinion is we want to win district and go 2 rounds in the playoffs.

If everyone would get on the same page they can put a stop to the wokeness that has brought our country into the 3rd world. Boycott the casinos get on board and petition the state to shut down all gambling in the state of Texas. We must stop spending our hard earned money on people that do not share our values. We are allowing this to happen. I do not watch pro football and I now will not visit my local Casino or do any business at their store. Before I spend my hard earned money I do my homework. It only takes a second.

"Offensively we are better than last year" followed by "Offensively we are in bad shape". Which is it? Better? or bad shape?
Offensively we are better because of our WR/QB he is the best and smartest athlete on the field at that time. However we never seem to have a dynamic offense that can score and keep scoring when you have to put up a lot of points to stay in shootouts hence 56 to 6 to Lorena. Look and see how many games Woodville has put up 60 or more on their opponents in the past 5 years.

We must've seen 2 different scrimmages. I recall 3 scores but who's counting. Credit WV with everything they did well. Don't let the Eagles head swell too big. Be proud of what they accomplished against us. Takes guts to come to our place for any competition. I see WV as a winner or runner up in their district. Good luck the rest of the season.
I agree. I watched 2 different games much of last season as well, our defense is our strength. Offensively we are better than last year due to our wr turned QB but as last year we cannot score. Offensively we are in bad shape.

Probably not but your o line will be tested look up Braylon Rigsby and Darius Bean.

Heard the young QB moved. Not sure if Lloyd Evans moved. Surprised to not see Kam Wyatt listed. You know what's going on with all that?
Not sure I did hear last year he wanted to focus more on Basketball. There will be several in different positions due to injuries and people moving.

This is the year that everyone has been waiting for. Defensively very stout. Offense is wait and see.

This is the best coach in East Texas. With this hire you have to make Huntington 1 of the favorites in District next year. He should be a AD somewhere or a D1 college coach.

Yes, things have been going down hill for a while. Defense could only muster a safety in this one.

Looks like Diboll will coast thru region 3 with very little competition.

You will get to witness 6’4” 290lbs 4.8 40 speed 1st hand I think he may have more than 5 sacks personally. But there is another or 3 that will will be racing him to the QB. All I can say is good luck.
