Looks like the LCM boys been volunteering at the Stiles unit. Whooped up on my Woodville boys pretty bad. Nice start to your season keep it up. I think y’all stand a chance at winning your district.

Baseball season is getting close. Any idea on when schedules will be released.

QB is too good. EC has a very good and physical defense, but I don't see them getting enough pressure on the QB to force him into making bad decisions with the football. Offensively, the Bucs will put up points in bunches, which will keep them in the game and make it a great ballgame. EC won't be able to run the ball unless they open up lanes with a successful passing attack. Grandview has beaten arguably the two best rushing offenses in the state in class 3A (Woodville and Franklin) in consecutive weeks. It'll be a great game. Go Bucs! Not too shabby for a "down" year lol

By no means do I feel silly. It just reinforces my opinion that you must run a more balanced offense.can not just run the ball over and over again. EC has the perfect balance. I have picked them earlier to make the regional finals. I believe now they have what it takes to win State. I hope they get it done and we learn something from 3 consecutive years of 2 and out.

If anyone wants to see what a great running back looks like check out the hudl highlight reel for our stud running back Zack Martin. He will be highly missed. I have been following this kid for years and have known he is a special talent. He will do well at the next level and beyond.

I understand being average is easy to accept. Looks as if everyone is ready to go watch Newton and Jasper the 2 Headed monster play ball. A Culture is hard to change.

The first time I ever heard the ladies in the stands complaining about what was happening on the field. Now there are many of the jr high and underclass men doubting the system. No progress made. I used to think it took both athletes and coaches to win . I now admit I was wrong. It is 90 percent coaching 10 percent athletes.  

You are right . You did what every team we faced should have done. Your coach is top notch pay him what he wants. It is what it is. I still pick Franklin though. They have a good coach to.

If you haven’t noticed this game stirred me up . I hope the kids get an apology from the coaches for how this game turned out. There are no excuses .

High school football and basketball is all about matchups. Even more so in the smaller classifications. No matter who you schedule preseason by the 3rd round of the playoffs there's nothing left in it but pretty good teams. Woodville had a good club this year. They weren't good enough to win state but they have a lot of company. They should be congratulated on a great year. Anyone advocating changing coaches should look around and see what everyone else is doing. The guy has turned the program around. Enjoy the success with him. Congrats Eagles on a great season.

District championships are a dime a dozen . A good coach will throw that trophy in the garbage to go more than 3 rounds deep. Another thing our middle school kid are better suited to run the spread. They have look at all the kids not just the ones they think are QB material. The only time they know what a Qb looks like is when he is beating them like they stole something.

Franklin by as much as they want. Cold springs has twice the athletes Grandview does. Grandview is well disciplined and coached. Qb is only threat.

No if y’all have what I think you have it will be over by halftime. The most unathletic team you can imagine. No size no speed less than 20 kids suit up so no depth. 

Wrong again on every account. The more you talk the worse it gets . I have talked to the kids and parents of all the age groups mentioned. They all say they’re not developing  QBs in the lower level just putting the previous youth qb in that played when he was 10. All kids have to be looked at even the ones you think are linemen. Put them on the field see who has the arm and who doesn’t. This game was like watching mike Tyson fighting pee wee Herman tied and blind folded. While pee wee beat him with a ax handle. Find someone who can coach more than 1 scheme. The group you mentioned above is a spread team Double wing won’t work for them . If a coach is 1 dementional move on. 

Yes , they get it done. This team has consistently gotten better each week. Keep working on the Defense knock Franklin off and go to Jerry’s World. By the way send a copy of your offensive scheme along with highlights of your game with West to Woodville. Great job EC!!!!

Agree completely what a waste of time the last 3 years have been. All of a sudden we have a sorry o line. Line did a tremendous job Grandview kept 11 men in the box no deeper than 8 yards of the ball with various stunt packages. They were not going to allow us to run the ball any passing game at all would have made a huge difference. Start over from square 1 again. I almost forgot . HISTORY REPEATED ITSELF AGAIN.

Na won’t be close at all . The weight room and speed will be to much for a young team to deal with. Don’t worry woodville won’t run the score up to bad.
