  1. I am trying to figure out how he knows that this kid was the leading tackler in 22-4A. I don't think that the teams turned in their official stats to anyone to publish those. As a matter of fact I know they didn't. When your defense gives up over 20 points a game I am not sure that anyone from that defense deserves to be all district.
  2. They are getting professional help for theor Dayton envy....
  3. There they are. I knew some of those Lumberton people could not wait to jump on the Broncos. How you doing with that Dayton envy??? By the way, how is thump, thump going?
  4. What heart those boys have! Good job players, coaches and fans! Broncos rule!
  5. You are a fool my friend. Take your butt whipping with little class. It is called offseason, Crosby should try it sometime.
  6. And again you are wrong. Thanks for playing but you do not have the district book in front of you and do not know what it says. Rules are set and you should follow them, not change them in mid stream. It is not the fact of who we are playing but rather the principle of the matter and the lack of professionalism that they showed.
  7. Don't think he was spinning it but rather just stating facts.
  8. This is incorrect. If Dayton wins as well as Lumberton then they go by points for PNG, Dayton, and Lumberton as far as the seeding is concerned for the playoffs. If Dayton beats PNG by more than I think 5 then Dayton is considered the top seed and would play Smiley. If they lose or win by less than 5 then they play Crosby.
  9. They have dealt with it. To the tune of around 210 points for to 14 points against in district or something like that. I think they have dealt with it very well!!!
  10. There is some misunderstanding about the fact if Dayton wins and Lumberton wins. There will a 3 way tie for first. PNG is just not given the top seed, yes they are big school representative but the point spreads come into effect according to UIL and district tie breaker system. Dayton can win and Lumberton win and Dayton still represent as the top seed in District 22-4A.
  11. Were you at the game last night? Dayton was in man coverage the whole night, one form or another. They sent pressure and when they only sent 3 were still in a man under 2 deep zone. NEderland's receivers were overmatched and were afraid. #?? wanted nothing to do with the game last night. He went into a shell and may still be there this morning. Nederland lost to Dayton this week not just 63-0 but 121 - 22 (Varsity 63-0, JV 38-0, Fresh. 22-20 Nederland.) You are correect about Dayton's defense playing at another level. They are like a bunch of little hornets out there putting the hats on people and stinging them. They are fun to watch.
  12. Can you people from Dayton quit with all of the philosophy. I am sure that people in Lumberton could care less about your opinions on who they should play. Let them get their team ready for Cleveland and then let them get ready for Dayton. People in Dayton should be a whole lot more concerned about the goings on in Dayton and less worried about Lumberton. They don't need anymore fuel to add to their fire to beat Dayton than the butt whipping they took last year. They will be ready and Dayton will be ready...Let it go.
  13. The game at Dayton will be a 7:00 kickoff and not 7:30.
  14. Here is an idea. Let's let last year be last year and let the kids play the game on the field, and not between us old has beens on a message board. Starting to sound like people from Lumberton.
  15. I really do not think that Ozen wants to get into this conversation.
  16. Let's review again, just like we had to do with some of you West Orange people last year. You are talking about the last two previous meetings before the 2006 season, which were scrimmages, right? 2004 Dayton beat up on WO-S in the first scrimmage, Dayton scored 28 to West Orange's 14. 2005 scrimmage, Dayton and West Orange tied 14-14 in their game scrimmage. 2006 West Orange took us to the woodshed. They had 3 big plays and that put the nail in the coffin. So there it is, a run down for the past 3 years of Dayton and West Orange. Please try and remember so we do not have to go through this again with you all that are drinking the blue kool-aid.
  17. He does a good job of running down the plays from behind. Two plays jumped out at me when he missed the tackle and then ran them back down. Great hustle play. As long as he does not have to man up on any good slots he will be fine. He manned up against AJ Dugat last year and got torched for a TD. I think that is his biggest weakness, playing pass in open air.
  18. Kids from PNG are always going to give great effort in everything they do. That is a quality that you can say about most teams that are in teh triangle. Talent does not always win, thank God. There has been many games when Dayton has been out talented on the game field but won the game on heart and determination.
  19. Thank God Dayton is not titan good. 9-3 is a hell of a lot better than 6-5 and barely beating two terrible teams in Ozen and Channelview. Did you all get a defense in the offseason? You all were #206 in the state in points allowed? And don't pull that you all play better teams. West Brook and Lamar are the only two legitamate teams that are on your schedule. You barely beat Lee and Central spanked them. And I could not let PA think he could talk smack with nothing to back it up.
  20. You people just do not know when to shut up, but we thank you for your ignorance. quote author=Texasfan87 link=topic=20131.msg190204#msg190204 date=1184211194] Dejohn is the man he has a way better arm than cody green does so just shut up about cody green dayton lumberton is tried of hearing about him they dont care who yall put out there
  21. Ford has received and accepted a scholarship offer from McNeese after his senior season. Congrats to a well deserving, very hard working young man.
  22. Dayton will have their best receiver corps they have ever had along with one of the better Jr. QB's in the state. Put these along with 2 RB's that are both quicker than Mike Dugat was and you have the makings of a pretty good offense.
