1. Also coach stewart shook gages hand after the game.  Gage needs to worry about barbers hill and stop acting a donkey on the sideline every game.
2. First of all get your facts straight before running your mouth.  It was a b team player on the freshman level that played on the freshman a team.  Dayton did not have enough people because of injuries.  So instead of not having a b game Dayton chose to pull one kid up.  They pulled their best player out of the A game and put a B team player in his place when the game was out of hand.  BH should have been happy.  If dayton would have cancelled the B game yall would not have scored or won a game.
3. And people from Crosby want to talk about other schools.  Come on now!!!
4. They should not have been talking crap about the Dayton coaches and players.  They talked about putting 30 points on Dayton because Dayton runs a gimmick defense..... Who's name are they going to put on the tires now!!!!!!!!
5. Prayers from Dayton! So sorry to the whole team, town and families! Thinking of you! :'(
6. Ask Nederland who they would rather play again, Dayton or the Hill.
7. The one thing that Porter will have over Liberty will be coaching.  They have brought some great coaches in over there to help that program get off of the ground.
8. Dayton has had one move in from Liberty and that was three years ago.
9. Here is an interesting fact for you.  You say Dayton is growing, correct?  Here are the numbers that show the opposite.  This is district enrollment: 2006 - 2007: 4954 students 2007 - 2008: 4849 students 2008 - 2009: 4772 students Looks to me like Dayton is decreasing in enrollment.  These numbers came from the T.E.A website.
10. AMEN.
Dayton is good because Jerry Stewart developed a program.

Be careful about making statements about TAKS scores that you really are not sure of.  This has already been posted once and the guy from Crosby was shown to be wrong.
Crosby's is as high or higher in everything........Just looked and is not wrong....[Hidden Content]
Depends on how you look at the information given.  If you look at the information from YOUR website that you used then you will notice that for 10th graders Crosby does lead in 10 areas as opposed to 5 for Dayton since 2006.  If you look at 11th graders EXIT level information Dayton is ahead of Crosby in 11 areas as as opposed to 2 for Crosby.  They are tied in 2 areas for the 11th grade test. In overall areas tested from 9th grade through 11th grade then Dayton leads Crosby in all areas tested by a score of 18 - 17 areas tested.  So you were saying???  That is a great website.  Thanks for sharing.

13. Have been called that among other things!!!  ;)

You can take my word for it or not, it really does not matter.  If you would rather listen to the conjecture and feel that makes a better coffee shop discussion then go ahead.  But I can assure you I know more of what is going on than anyone else on this board. 16. I am glad that you all know exactly what happened and have found him guilty already.  I know for a fact that it has nothing to do with the bat or gun issue.  The statement that Sumlin put out is a generic statement put out by universities whenever an athlete makes a decision not to continue at the school.  If AJ stays at Houston then the report says transfer.  Since AJ made a decsion not to continue at Houston and he chose a different route then the school gets to put that they kicked him off for violating team policy and Sumlin gets to look like a disciplinarian. Has AJ made a great decision, I do not believe so but it is one made and there will be consequences to that decision.  Have you all made great decisions in everything you do?  If so, by all means judge him, if not, get off the kid's butt and hope that he can find his way and make a better life.
17. Just remember that the street runs both ways and sometimes personalties conflict and people go their seperate ways.  Not handled well on both sides, but you only get UofH's side in the media.
18. If that statement hurts their feelings for God sake do not send them to Dayton, where Caoch Stewart is not going to sugar coat anything.  The kids in Dayton grow up expecting to hear the truth, whether it be good or bad.  They learn how to deal with the bad and get better and work harder to get the good.  A whole lot like real life!!!
19. Has he had a winning season without a Rogers brother on the team?
20. Let Vidor say they are not going to play Crosby because of Barrett station and see how fast Quanell X is on the TV.  Let's see how the reverse plays out.
21. It is amazing that this kind of thinking is still so forefront on people's mind after all that Coach Matthews has done to change the image of Vidor.  The Superintendent at Crosby needs to explain his actions.
22. At the Dayton / Barbers Hill game on Friday there were no less than 6 Bay Area officials sitting in the stands on The Hill's side dressed in blue and white, and one of those include a school board member that officiates games in 19-4A.  There has got to be some kind of ethics problem if this is being allowed.  Let me see a school board member for Barbers Hill calling games that can directly influence the outcome and playoff position of teams within the same district as Barbers Hill.  He has the right to officiate, I just believe he should not call any games in 19-4A. Do not get me wrong I am not saying the officiating cost Dayton the game by any means, (it sure did not help Dayton either), but it was crazy looking across and seeing all of these officials that I have watched call varsity games in Dayton sitting on The Hill's side wearing blue and white.
23. Here is someone else showing their ignorance.  The reason for that score has already been discussed on this board and I will not go back into it but for your own understanding you can go to the Texas Education Agency and pull up the school's AEIS report and see for yourself that the Unacceptable rating for Dayton high school had nothing to do with TAKS scores.  Keep trying to find chinks in the armour and just keep adding fuel to the a** whipping that is coming.
24. Someone might want to chek out Katy and their team meal a few yeras back and the UIL ruling that took them from a state championship game.  Keep everything on the up and up with the UIL and go win you a state championship!!!
