I saw the video and it is bad! He should not have hit her, and her family and friends should take him out back and whoop his butt. However, she married him after this happened. If she apparently doesn't think it is bad enough to get away from him, then why is everyone else so against him? Why should he lose his job because of a stupid decision that he made on his off time? There are rapists and murderers still playing! Is this really worse? If he loses his job in the NFL I bet his wife will be worse off then if he keeps playing. By all means we must save her by cutting off his huge paycheck and having him go to work as a ditch digger! That is her only hope now for happiness!

The way this reads, it was presented to two different grand juries. The first one didn't indict, so they brought it to a second one? Sounds a little fishy to me. Can a prosecutor keep bringing a crime indictment to each new grand jury until they find one to go along with them? It is hard to tell from the pictures, he may deserve to be buried under the jail. But, I am betting that this is being blown out of proportion by some bleeding heart liberal who thinks all kids should be taught to talk about what they did wrong and then get to pick their own punishment. Montgomery county is a sesspool of yuppies, and I have several kin folks living their. Their kids are demons, and need a beating before they end up in prison. Because of the social structure of that area, no one spanks their children any more. They are all far too civilized! Getting to the point of what Columbine was right before the shooting. No discipline and the children hit their parents, or tell them what to do, and sadly the yuppies go along with it! Spare the rod, spoil the child. By the way, I haven't spanked or whipped my kids in several years. But when they were little and did something wrong, they got their hand slapped. Then as they got older, they got a hand across their behind. They have gotten a belt one time each, and learned from their mistakes. Now, when they go to school, teachers don't have to spend all of their time telling my kids to behave. They can teach the class. Someday they may put me in the worst nursing home they can find, but at least they won't be in prison and will be there to pick it out for me!

He is making the U.S. into a paradise! He is taking this horrible experiment of a country that rules itself and turning it into a politically correct bastain to the world where everyone, Jewish and Muslim, Black and White, dog and cat can live together in harmony and sing koombyah while we skip around the rainbow holding hands. He is going to make everything free to everybody and ensure that the evil wealthy people pay for all of it! There will be no more police departments so that they cannot act to oppress those who have been treated less than what they believe they are entitled to. We will not have any borders anymore so that anyone still wanting to come here after e is done will be able to without fear of the laws of this country. We will all be able to get free health care to cover all of the diseases that are brought in by the immigrants such as TB, Ebola, or scabies. We will all be skinnier and healthier though, because we will not smoke, drive, or eat any foods that contain seasoning, sweeteners, or fats. The children will be much easier to care for after being malnourished by school lunches, as anemic weak children are not as fast, and will be therefore easier to keep an eye on while we sit at home doing art or relaxing since we no longer need to be employed because the government will provide all things for free. This is my understanding of what he has been striving for over the last 6 years. Of course I didn't write this post, someone else wrote it and gave it to me to use!!

I just can't believe the stupid things that repeatedly are being said by the top Democrats lately. Between Biden, Pelosi, Reed, Hillary, and Obama, it seems like every time they go on television and make a statement it is politically stupid and comes back to bite them in the butt. The Republicans are worthless, but at least they seem to run their statements by someone with a brain before they make the comment. The Democrats need to fire some speech writers and advisors!

100% correct. As I have stated before on this board, none of the politicians care about us. They are only out for themselves! With that being said, wether or not Perry was justified in what he did, this D.A. Should have stepped down or been removed from office. How could her office ever prosecute anyone for a crime involving DWI if she was still there? Just like the rest of us, she is not above the law!

I don't know if that is the same guy in the video as the witness that was with him when he was shot, but Brown is handing things to him in the store video as he is grabbing things from the counter. Looks to me like he was a part of the theft and probably would not be counted as a reliable witness.

This is why we have investigations and trials! No one knows all the circumstances of what happened or the background of all the individuals involved. The protesters don't know, the governor doesn't know, the police chief doesn't know, the tweeters don't know, and the news channels don't know! Everyone immediately takes a side and then just like politics they won't listen to anything that doesn't agree with their side. The Ferguson police don't need to do the investigation. It should be handled by an outside source, but should be thorough and factual not based on the time limit of a group of protesters or used as a political statement by either side. It should go through the legal process and in the end a judge and jury should decide what happened and if it was justified for the officer to shoot or not! I am sure there are thousands of things we do not know about the officer, the young man that was shot, or the events of that night.

Pamfam- in my experience, your age may have as much to do with the police looking you over as race does. Young men tend to be the bigger trouble makers, or at least have that reputation. When I was younger, I was checked out by officers a lot more often, and have been pulled over for really random reasons that basically amounted to the officer wanting to check out what I was doing and needed a reason. Seems like about 30-35 years old, they figure you've outgrown a lot of the trouble making and start leaving you Alone more often. Part of it is you start changing the way that you look at the world and realize you are not doing anything wrong and they don't have a reason to pull you over or mess with you and when they do stop you, you do not act nervous or scared and they relax more too. I can actually remember when this realization hit me. My wife, children, and I were on the way home from my parents one evening. We were going through the town where I hung out a lot in my late teens and early twenties. In those years I was stopped all the time by the city police officers for random stuff. On this day, as we drove through town a police officer spun around and fell in behind us. He came real close up on us and followed us all the way through town. I can remember thinking I hadn't broke any laws and kept thinking please pull me over, I can't wait to hear what you want. He never did turn his lights on, but since that day, I don't get the same feeling when a police officer is following me.

Another thing that completely drives me insane are the patrol cars with the translucent lettering identifying the vehicle. If it is used for undercover purposes, it is justifiable. Using an unmarked, or barely marked vehicle as a traffic enforcement vehicle is ridiculous. I do not want my wife or children being pulled over out here in the national forest by a vehicle that is not clearly marked. There are just enough creeps and sickos out there to make this into a safety issue. The only possible reason to use these vehicles for traffic enforcement is to write more tickets. A ticket is supposed to work as a deterrent and promote safety, not as a fundraiser. Hiding the identity of these officers does not promote safety, it decreases it.

I don't have any reservations about the equipment that law enforcement officers have other than if we are wasting money on something extremely ridiculous. If it has a legitimate use, then I hope when the need arises, the police have it handy and it serves it's purpose. I have a bigger problem with no-knock warrants and swat teams being used for situations where a phone call or two officers visiting a residence could have taken care of the problem. If someone is holding a group of people hostage, or has barricaded themself in with an arsenal of weapons and is wanted for murder, then sneaking in an catching them off guard will probably save lives. But, to bust down the door, shoot the pet dog, and hold an entire family at gun point over the teenage kid selling drugs out the house is trying to prove something other than enforcing the law.

That would be like affirmative action getting him the job, that wouldn't be good! I know from a different thread that you are not as stupid as me (since you called me stupid), but you do realize that anyone can post and change Wikipedia? I am a French model though! Wow!! As a nation have we become this stupid? I know we don't pay attention in history class or get taught any real history, but surely people can remember what was said and done in the last 6 years.

ECO- according to your Parameters of who you want to tax and their actions for necessitating the tax, they already are being taxed for being fat! Junk foods have sales tax added at the register where as staple foods are tax free. The more cheeseburgers and cookies they buy, the more they are taxed. I would also argue that obese people save taxpayers money in the long run. My skinny grandmother is 88 years old and on Medicare and social security. My fat grandfather died at 72 so he was taken off of those programs at a much earlier age. Therefore, I think we should tax skinny, healthy people more because they will require way more help later in life after the fat ones die!

I haven't seen it, and don't really want to. I prefer watching the video of the bombs we are dropping on them!

It really is a shame that people don't fight duels anymore. You two could meet, shoot it out, and save the rest of us from this stupid crap!
