There were a lot of other schools there supporting one team or the other, but it sure looked like a huge amount of fans streaming out.  I just feel like the WOS team deserved better than that.  They had a great season and played hard tonight.  Things just didn't fall in their favor.
 2. Wow! What a game. WOS had a great team and we got to see some of that advertised speed.  They were the first team this year that was able to run with our boys.  They have absolutely nothing to be ashamed of.  I don't remember the number but the "little" running back is pretty darn good.  He is very quick and hard to tackle.  Also, I was very impressed with several of the WOS players at the end of the game.  In particular #14.  He showed some great sportsmanship and was very classy.  Congratulations on a great year.  (steps on soap box) I was kind of disappointed in a bunch of the WOS fans though.  With over 5 minutes left they were filing out of the stadium like their team wasn't worth supporting.  This game was no where near over.  I cannot stand this "fair weather" fan attitude.  I have seen it show it's head on the Coldspring side also, and wish that those fans would stay at home.  If you can't cheer for your team when they are losing, then you shouldn't be allowed to cheer for them when they are winning either.  Congratulations Trojans.  I think they may have been the best game ya'll have played all year.  Don't let up now!  Keep things Day-By-Day and keep working hard.  Ya'll are the real deal and showed it tonight.
 3.
My daily prediction for this game: WOS      17 CS          7 Bank on it!!!
Do they take random predictions at the bank??? I would like to try to cash one in also. CS 10  WOS 3 FYI: I figure that's a touchdown/2 point conversion and a safety to get that 10 points What can I say, just as good of a chance to have this score as any other guesses I have seen on here.

 5. Trojans 19 Mustangs 13 I'm just saying! Should be a good game.
 6.
Here's some of Coldspring's pre-season games..   Kirbyville   Tarkington   Shepherd   Splendora     Cleveland * some of theses teams are in a rebuilding year...I wouldn't call this a real tough schedule... ;D ;D ;D ;D   Kville you may not know because your definetly not a CS fan but we lost 25 seniors this year (the whole Oline) compared to next year we only lose 2 on O and 2 on defense (starters), I guess you could call that rebuilding too. I know your going to say what about our 2 running backs we have 2 sophmores that will fill there shoes without missing a beat next year.

I mentioned it to coach Barbay last year that he was losing a lot of players for this year.  His reply, "We don't rebuild, we reload"!
 7. WOS should be able to handle Columbus fairly easily.  Of course, that is what Smithville probably thought last week.  Good luck to WOS.
 8.
Im surprised that there hasnt been any Coldspring fans defending thier team. Here is what I know. Coldspring has some key injuries that happened in the Liberty game. One probably is out for the season but the others will be back. Over rated? No way.Barbers Hill was over rated.
OK I'm here to defend my boys. I am actually from Bellville.  Graduated Bellville High Class of '95.  Whole family still lives there.  If you are looking for over rated.  Bellville is the place to look.  As my grand father used to say about them "they started, farted, stumbled, and fell".  Look for a replay of the past from them.  Bellville will keep the game interesting with their defense, but the Trojan Rumble keeps moving.  Trojans 20 Bellville 10.

I guess a car wreck is very entertaining to you. Your disgusting! :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[ :-[
05 is one of the few village idiots from BC. Hope the kid is ok.
Every town has some.  Last report (from his mom) he has concussion and cervical sprain.  Home and doing ok.  Wants to play next week.  We all thank god it was not worse.  It was scary seeing him kind of wobble coming off of the field after what happened with Trapp last week.  FYI Trapp is home, in halo and was at the game last night cheering on his Trojans. Please keep both of these young men in your prayers.

 11. Always horrible when we lose young kids. Our thoughts and prayers are with them and their families.
 12. Bellville D pretty stingy this year. Coldspring D will be the difference. Trojans 20 Bellville 10 P.S. Bellville head coach is from Livingston and his brother is A.D. in Livingston.
 13. You just committed a personal foul on the English language.  A little bit of syntax, conjugation, (uhhhhh ummmmm) and grammar never hurt anyone.  I promise.  If you are going to try and dog another school, at least try and use the King's English and not whatever hillbilly dialect that you just used.  You are not exactly a ringing endorsement for the quality of the education from whatever school you came from.
ditto
 14. They not...CS won't be much of nothing after Sherman Gilbert leave.
We're the dumb backwoods rednecks???????
 15. Great Game!!! Bridge City played a great game.  Coldspring played a great game. Excellent defense on both sides.  As a Coldspring fan, I have to admit that some of our district is not the toughest opponent, and our offensive stats get padded with the weaker teams.  A lot of the 50 plus points average wasn't because of the "unstoppable" offense.  We have a good offensive team and several very fast players and some big stout boys blocking for them.  All it takes is one mistake and they can bust a long run.  Welcome to High School football.  That is true of many teams.  When you are dealing with High School kids, they make mistakes and sooner or later someone is going to bust loose.  Without a doubt, our strength this year has been the defense.  They have outscored most of our opponents this year without the offense.  I know this was against a bunch of teams that wouldn't be allowed to play in 21-3A because they are not worthy.  I don't know that we will win state this year, or even make it out of next week with a win.  But I am very proud of our team, and as a Coldspring fan think they have just as good of a chance to win as anyone else.  Since we is all dumb here in Coldspring and don't know no better.  i mightt goe too da gam next weekk and chear for dem anywho.  Sorry I got my masters degree from a college in Beaumont and sometimes can't remember how to spell the big words.  Offense wins games, defense wins championships.  Good game Bridge City, Good luck next year.  Hope to see some of the rest of you in the weeks to come.  At the very least, I hope our crap offense doesn't score too many points on your superior defense if or when we play you.  P.S. Santa Claus and the Tooth Fairy are real.  If you don't believe, you don't receive.

Sounds like bc is running the ball well but stump is trying his best to outsmart himself by throwing too much as usual. Is that the case?
That is exactly what he done terrible coaching job he is 0-3 in the playoffs time to go
Be careful what you wish for.  Losing in the playoffs is miserable because it ends a season, but not going to the playoffs is worse.
 17.

Those times ave long passed. Yes we had up and downs but we are up for the next two years at least. You should not of let us get Barbay from you. lol
Yes Barbay a good coach, but Kirbyville will be back on top soon buddy!
IMO Best thing happened to Coldspring last year was the first game against Kirbyville.  I know a lot of Coldspring fans are excited about being undefeated but I think that loss to Kirbyville last year kept the boys focused on each game one at a time.  I just hope this years walk through the season doesn't come back to bite us now.
 18. Orangefield would beat cleveland, and HF vs Cleveland would be a pretty good game. I don't think Coldsprings dominance can make up for the rest of the district. 21>22
Huffman would win 21-3a and Cleveland would smash ofield and hf.
I don't know that Huffman would win 21-3A but definitely a playoff team there as well.  As for Cleveland and Orangefield, after watching both teams play Coldspring this year, Cleveland would demolish Orangefield. Huffman has a good team.  They are gonna open some eyes in the next few weeks. Good luck falcons.
Kirbyville and crockett are hardly teams that people schedule because they are a push over.  Orangefield is already on the WOS schedule I think.
sarcasm added for desired effect. Orangefield is in WOS district.  Not on the schedule by choice.
Sorry kinda new to posting on here.  I will try to better identify my sarcasm.  And since this is the Cleveland -WOS post, Go Cleveland.

 21. I don't want to jump the gun but can't wait for next friday to get here. Hoping for a Coldspring Trojan - Bellville Brahma game next friday night. Bellville High Class of '95 married to a Coldspring High Class of '95. I believe the last time these two met we were sophmores in high school and they met in Dome. Didn't come out so good for Bellville.  This time I'm kinda hoping for the same.  She won the coin toss.  Go Trojans
Huffman can withstand the punishment and give some back as well
