Nederland is using a new SWISS CHEESE defensive scheme...works well when your offense can out score opponents..but looks like thats not gonna happen either...oh'well...there is always next year.

Ive been reading a lot lately about this possibly being the best defense Nederland has ever had... Some say in the last 10 years at the least... WOS out scrimmaged them 14-7 Dayton 24-7 in first quarter of scrimmage That is 38 points in what?? 5 quarters of scrimmage play.(Insert Nederland fan comments here about how it's just a scrimmage-WHATEVER! It is what is..piss poor) The cold hard truth is..... Nederland has a crummy defense and will be lucky to go to the playoffs in 4rth place. New name for Nederlands defense - (Instead of The Dogpound) Lets just call it SWEET CUDDLY POUND PUPPIES NEEDING ADOPTION. That my friends...is THE COLD HARD TRUTH. PEACE

Anyone interested in being part of a 7u select football team please contact [email protected] It will only be an 8 game season played on weekends in the spring/ klien area with a playoff tourney following. Top 2 teams advance to play state tourney at University of Texas. Season starts Feb 18th Will be a good experience for the guys moving from flag to tackle next year or for first year tackle guys. Next year we need to let 19-4A play the teams from 20-4A who DIDNT make the playoffs. We can have our own little 19-4A toilet bowl. It can be played out in a cow pasture in Fannett.

PNG completes the sweep without a issue. That coach at PNG is built for playoff football. Dayton doesnt have a clue what to expect and whatever they are thinking they will face will be the polar opposite of what PNG will come out doing. Ive caught enough PNG games to realize that coach is slick.. changing it up week to week... 20-4A and PNG sweep Im calling it that PNG pulls the reigns back midway in the 3rd and cruises in on auto Dayton starts basketball ASAP

When they don't have to play a 20-4A team. I think they should move to the district with Hampshire Fannett..they would probably at least be .500 there.
