  1. Lets say they take PNG's spot in 5A DII...who do they lose to?

Barbers Hill, Ft. Bend Willowridge, College Station, or Calallen....I don't think they lose any of those. And that my friends is state 5A DII

Lets say they take Memorial's spot..who do they lose to?

Porter, Ft. Bend Elkins, Temple, or Manvel? I think WOS is head and shoulders above Memorial so I like our chances against Temple...I'll give you Manvel...Although Temple did beat Manvel so...

For once, you and I agree bigdog. 11 vs. 11 I take WOS; oherwise, depth would kill them. Big schools would just keep rolling out the hogs and wear you down. Hard to play against nearly total senior teams.

WOS has NEVER had the numbers even when 5a and 4a...heck they don't have the numbers now lol

  3. I've been trying to tell people that all year long that this isn't a typical WOS team. Are they better than the 86', 87' teams? Who knows? Good topic of debate. But when you look at all the intangibles and take the name of jersey off the front, and disregard classification, this team pretty much matches up with anyone.

  4. A little something from Navarro coach...

Navarro head coach Les Goad said he has “never seen a faster, more fundamentally sound team” than the Mustangs.

“In 32 years of coaching, I’ve never coached against this much athleticism at any level,” he said. “We couldn’t establish our power plays because they wouldn’t let us lock up on blocks. And it seemed like every time the ball was tipped up, they found a way to catch it and take off.”

  5. just got back from the Steele game. Very good team!!! A couple of things. I don't know who Cinco Ranch beat but they looked so over matched. Speed wise WOS would have that by a good margin over Steele. Steele defensive line is stout an they win that battle. QB edge goes to Jack Dallas...it's not even remotely close. The QB did not like contact and couldn't throw to be honest. It looks like they have faith in him to just manage the offense. Defensively they are long, lanky dudes in the secondary. Steele runs about 3 plays to be honest...zone read out of different formations...treating the QB like Vince Young at UT. Screens and bubble passes would slow down Steele's rush...no running up the middle.

Overall I can see why WOS "might" be favored...but Steele would keep throwing fresh legs at WOS. The speed WOS has would be a shock to them I think coming out of that region...honest assesment

Crack kills.......and we will never find out, forget Calprep what does Txprep say ??? I could win a lot of $$$ off Calprep

Really?? who did they pick that you would've won money on? Again..no argument just a bunch of smoke and mirrors. You haven't made one direct argument...not one, other than "I don't believe it, no way that could happen, but they're 6a..." on and on and on

So your prediction rate has been above 80% on the year for ALL of United States football?...lmbo!!

  7. this is according to Calprep...and yes they take classification into consideration. USA TODAY has WOS at #7 in the state regardless of classification. If you think that a team can drop 70 (21 called back)  in a state semi-final game against a team that is undefeated can't hang in upper classification then you don't watch enough football.

    the cowboys stuff??? really

Going to the Steele game in a few minutes so I'll get a first hand look...

I don't just look at the name on the jersey and say "well wwe would lose that one." and I'm curious, what evidence do you have that they couldn't pull these games off other than classification and tradition?

  8. Allen 28-24

    Woodlands 28-27

    WOS 31-21 against Klein Collins

    WOS 28-22 against Steele

    WOS 35-31 against Aldeo

    DeSoto 31-30

WOS 35-12 against Katy Cinco Ranch

    WOS 28-21 against Denton Ryan

    WOS 28-19 against Highland Park

    WOS 31-17 against Temple

    WOS 35-27 against Richmond Foster

    WOS 35-12 against Calallen

    AND THE ONE THAT COUNTS

    WOS 38-17 against Sweetwater

After what I saw against Navarro ( a game hat should have been in the 70's +)  I am convinced

Sorry dude......don't care what Calprep or Maxprep says or their % rate. I do not see WOS beating either Westlake or Katy even on WOS home field. Matter of fact I don't see WOS playing within 2 td's of either.......sorry JMO !!! wow

That's why its called "your opinion" lol

I would take my chances on something a little more scientific than "your" opinion..and one that has been 82% correct this year! lol...dude it's not personal. I bet if i told you that 82% of the time they pick the correct lottery numbers you'd bet the house!! geez...quit looking at the name on the jersey and the classification.

The shots at WOS get old. We compete against the schools our size. We don't have to Beat PAM,Crosby,Png...etc. we have to beat 4a div2 teams. Maybe we just make them look like boo boo...smh

    it does...but reference calpreps.com

...has WOS beating (THIS YEAR) College Station, Katy, Westlake, Richmond Foster, cibolo steele,  in a neutral site matchup. Laugh all you want but the site is has a 82% prediction rate. WOS does not have to play these games but it is fun to speculate...this years team is special to say the least

It also had them beating Temple by double digits...just saying
