I am just speaking on principle. Some decisions shouldn't be about "pleasing the masses".
I completely understand that what we have as our GOW will not change the landscape of how people think around here. I just think that the MCM game shouldn't be an "automatic" every year.

I think the game will be close and it will come down to coaching. I have never seen a MCM game with a certain coach that makes me believe he can pull it off. No prediction given, but if past history repeats itself, I can see a likely scenario taking place. I am not impressed with any team in our district.

I think Monty will spread it out.  Keep out of the trenches.  Tell the kids to run to the secret dry spots. 

Rb's or Qb can't have a good game unless Nederland wins the line of scrimmage.  That is where they are showing some improvement, but has not been a strength all in all.  Vidor will make you battle for the line of scrimmage, 4 point stances and nose down, drive and dive blocking.  You have to be a little nasty to play in this one, Dogs have a challenge in front of them, but have a good formula over the years for having what it takes to beat the Pirates.  Should be a fun one, and guaranteed to be one last good roll in the mud with the Pirates on Jerry Mallory Field based on the forecast.

Due to only having two healthy running backs on the roster. Not because of his play at QB. He is the 3rd QB and emergency RB if needed. He could likely thrive at RB.

Some teams are all about the stats, like it wins games... Nederland just wins games, especially against you know who.

I actually posted that after some joking comments were made at the stjfl coaches meeting. No excuses. Nederland outcoaches PN-G and that is all there is to it. 

However it's formulated and calculated, it adds up to a number, and NISD's is the lowest in the area.  Industry, no industry, bonds, whatever, it's the lowest and has been for a long time.  Folks in Nederland have been getting a really good deal.

Akifan, your excuses only make the victory last year that much more enjoyable!  the fact that Nederland won even 1 time when you guys have a once in a generation talent has to be disappointing in Indian land
