Team is “young” but due to several freshman and sophomores last year on the team starting they have a year or two of experience. Thunder and lightning of Kade Scott and Josh Mazyk at the running back position should be exciting to watch,

For what it’s worth I knows it’s just a scrimmage but Nederland has PAM (scrimmage) PNG, United all on the schedule just missing West Brook. But I think I can speak for Nederland and West Brook. I’m sure west Brook is looking for stiffer competition than Nederland could provide them, we can only provide atmosphere lmao Im sure we will be losing United off of our schedule as they gear up and get ready for more of a 6a non district except maybe a PAM on the schedule.

For Nederland I believe current schedule we have now does us great PAM start off with a physical great scrimmage following with WOS, Silsbee, United. Gets us ready for the season and hopefully long playoff runs. But wouldn’t mind swapping PAM and Silsbee and play PAM in a actual game again. If schedule stays the same I’m happy with it. But if we could just fantasize and have a dream schedule I would love to have a Nederland PNG and PAM triple header at Reliant on opening weekend. Against Huntsville, Brenham, and Manvel.

Maybe Cardinal Backer can our some insight on how much acres but 1442 growth was a lot with all those new subdivisions. OF not near as much, but a lot of new neighborhoods and there enrollment went down... No way 6A will happen.

People will move to this new neighborhood. Yes, but I don’t think to many from say Houston area/ outside of Golden triangle are begging to come to Lumberton. Sure this might move them back to 5A. But not 6A. I can see like mentioned earlier Vidor getting affected with this as well as Nederland, PNG, BC, BMT. I mean look at all those new neighborhoods that popped up in BC and OF and that didnt raise BC school district by any means and OF actually went down. Same with HF tons of new neighborhoods and school didn’t move up classification or anything.... but that’s my point of view.
