I got Newton!! It will be a good game 

It's 2:00am and I'm sitting at the Band hall waiting on busses. 

Newton carrying a 32 game win streak, coming off of a 52 - 21 win over Silsbee hosts the WOS mustangs , coming off of a 36 - 14 win over LCM. Can Newton win two years in a row or does WOS end the streak. This should be a great game. Newton onto 33 wins.

Two great programs going head to head. This is going to be a heck of a game. No matter the outcome, there really are no losers here. I hope this is the last time they play. Anxiety is to much

Your so right, same 2 plays. There is no way we (Coldspring) should have lost to shepherd. There was no passing at all. Just sucks 4 years in a row to lose to shepherd 😮😮😮

i knew this game was not gonna be on our side tonight. They were amazing the last two years and they had alot returning from last year.  Last year we had Roschon and we still fell short. This team is 4th in the state! Offense not connecting on anything tonight but they say their defense is amazing.

They are doing better than in years past. They have made two interceptions and have made them punt twice.  I am saying they look better than the years in the past. When I wrote this they only had one touch down but if our offense could make some plays the score would be different. The defense hasn't come off the field because our offense plays their three plays and off the field.

looks like our defense is doing great this year just need help on the offensive side. Way to go NDNs D! They are doing their job tonight!
 

Lcm is alot better than last year.need to clean up them penalties!! And throw the ball more when a team load the box. I'll tell u right now them and jasper will be alot closer than ppl think. Lcm has some pretty gud athletes.keep there composure.

this loss goes on Coldsprings coach he run 2 plays the entire game it easy to figure his scheme out he is no better than last years coach the dark days continue too much talent to be wasted by coaches 

Endless supply of championship talent?  PNG & Nederland both have talented players, on their individual teams each year.  Seldom is there star power at more than a few positions.  I guarantee you that the coaches make the team successful , beyond that talent level, by using what they have of football knowledge to form winning programs.  I have no low expectations.  I saw football programs last year, in district, including Dayton & Crosby, that had more talent on the field that we did.  Hey, but what do I know.  I've only missed 4 PNG football games, since the day I was born, 54 years ago.  I guess I have no idea what PNG football is capable of.  Or maybe you all have no idea of what PNG football is not capable of, from year to year.
Reality is nothing to be ashamed of!
Shame on you for blaming our coaches, whom I believe to be some of the best in the area. 
Worry about the player talent & coaching at your respective schools.  Like your programs, ours will keep going as far in the playoffs as our talent, and/or coaching skill levels will take us.  I will continue to love that PNG Football.  I have loved it in years we had 1 win & in years we had 14 wins.  Win, or Lose, I am a PNG Indian.

I agree with the community not being all in so to speak with the School.  Good kids, and Coaches along with facilities.   

I hate to hear that, but plan to add a few numbers to the home side. Myself and my boys will be there as often as possible!

I’m happy to hear they we will get more of a fan base. They have nice stadium for it to be empty on the home side. 

Looks like we got off track from the original question so here’s my take on it. Can Silsbee get back to state next year? They lost Adams, McCain, White, Tyler and a couple of more off a great team that didn’t make it to state as seniors so my answer is no. They have a great returning PG but lost to much of the supporting cast to win the region.
