  2. I get what ATTITUDE is saying. This year, the road to a successful season is there, but it is awfully narrow. Whether that road is successfully navigated will depend on how well players, coaches and staff members AND family members adhere to protocols that are in place. Hopefully, the notion that all have something to lose if they are not compliant will be enough. But I am not optimistic that it will as that is a lot of people to ask to tow the line. Personal responsibility is always a key. But this year, it is more important than ever!
  3. 2 players tested positive. The whole team, who is in Milwaukee, has been quarantined and today's game was postponed.
  4. What was particularly galling in this situation was that I warned him about the same thing not more than a couple of hours before. So not only was he violating forum rules, he was in essence giving me the finger. When that happens, this happens:
  5. Fellows if you are through discussing who will take 10-4A-I, then we will close this thread.
  6. I have not heard from Coach Westerberg so I don't know about Barbers Hill. Coach Prieto at Crosby is looking for a Week 1 game but has not snagged anybody yet. Haven't heard anything from Coach Surovik.
  7. Here is one situation where they would have been wise to heed your advice.
  8. Normally, I would bristle at such a topic. However, given that it is a darned sight better than what we have had to talk about over the last few months, I'm good with it.
  9. One of the regulars in this section couldn't (or wouldn't) watch his language, he is done. I don't care which side of the fence you are on....I don't care that this forum is full of highly emotional issues. You curse......you're gone. That is all.
  10. True story!
  11. As of late last night, correct.

  14. No, that is a change. Their original opponent was KIPP Sunnyside.
  15. Good. That is one less email that I have to send out today.
  16. Per a reliable source, Vidor is talking to a couple of teams who also have Wk 2 openings as well. I won't jinx the thing and reveal them but it would be a good contest for Vidor if either one of these schools played them.
  17. St. Pius X ( a TAPPS member) can't play because TAPPS delayed the start of practice until Sept 8 with their first games on Sept. 24-25.
  18. He is on the maxpreps.com roster, for what that is worth and his twitter still lists him at WO-S.
  19. Chances are that the factor behind La Vega holding off until today was the McLennan County order that closed schools to in person learning until 9/8 and not allowing sports during that time. After the AG opinion yesterday, McLennan County rescinded their order, which cleared the way for La Vega to make their game.
