  1. There are a number of teams that are still looking.
  2. I don't think so. The one that Crosby would lose would be their Sept. 25th game and they had already lost that as their original Week 1 opponent was Carthage and they lost that game when the UIL pushed 6A/5A back but left 4A-1A alone. Absent any further orders by Crosby ISD delaying the start of their football season, the Crosby/Memorial game should still be on.
  3. @LC-MIn answer to your question earlier this week. No, Jordan won't be playing LC-M.
  4. Yes. But given that the UIL already had pushed the start date for practice to Sept. 7, this order should have no effect on 12-5A-II play. It will just cost Crosby a non-district game.
  5. Fortunately, West Brook and United's Week 1 games are against non-Harris County teams (they play each other) so their schedule should not be effected by today's order.
  6. Exactly right coach. And if no extracurricular participation is allowed in HISD schools until Oct. 19, that is when they would begin fall practice not games. Even assuming an acclimation of 3 weeks, that would be the first game wouldn't be until November 13. That is the 1st week of bi-district for 4A-1A schools. HISD districts 6A/5A districts (18-6A - Bellaire, Chavez, Heights, Lamar, Sam Houston, Westbury, Westside; Just over half of 11-5A-II - Austin, Madison, Northside, Sharpstown, Sterling, Waltrip) would essentially play a district only schedule.
  7. Yeah, that's it. Except for HISD and I don't know what they are gonna do.
  8. No, they would have been potential area round opponents. 11-4A-1 would play 12-4A-I (Bay City, El Campo, Brazosport, Needville, Stafford, West Columbia)
  9. I don't see them waiting. Other than losing their Week 1 game, this doesn't affect those schools all that much. They'll just be playing 9 games instead of 10. And the 4A schools are already jammed up by HISD's order of no extracurriculars until mid October anyway. Remember, that order was already in place when the UIL announced its schedule earlier this week.
  10. I could be mistaken. But I think that the only 4A schools affected by this are the schools in 11-4A-I (Furr, Kashmere, North Forest, Washington, Wheatley and Yates).
  11. Yes. In fact, for 6A/5A teams this means that their first game can be no earlier than 10/1-3. The start for 6A/5A schools on 9/24-26 was contingent on the school continuing its S&C through August 24th. This order by Harris County effective ends that for all of its schools, including schools in these districts: Aldine Alief Channelview Crosby Cypress-Fairbanks Deer Park Galena Park Goose Creek (Baytown) Houston (Schools are already closed to their reopening plan that doesn't open schools to face to face until mid October) Humble Klein La Porte Pasadena Sheldon Spring Spring Branch Tomball Parts of Clear Creek (Clear Creek, Clear Lake) Parts of Katy ISD (Taylor, Mayde Creek, Morton Ranch) Private Schools (Kinkaid, Houston St. John's, The Village, Baytown Christian, Katy St. John's to name a few)
  12. Harris County has now entered an order that all schools in the district are to remain closed throught September 7th.
  13. While I acknowledge that the various plans set out over the last week have shaken up some schedules (and I m getting in touch with area coaches about that), both current schedules have East Chambers and Mexia playing each other. 14. The announcement by the UIL still has me off of my game. They are up now. Sorry and Thanks!
