No, it is not similar.  Other than your "perspective" that you talk about, you have no proof, no facts, NOTHING to refute the facts that have been put forth here. If you want to ease your conscience about the goings on at Yates, where AT LEAST two students had to sit out after they opted to transfer to a school whose rating is unacceptable and is outside of their home attendance zone AND IN FACT THIS DAY IS STILL OUT OF THEIR ATTENDANCE ZONE, an act deemed sufficiently worrisome that the UIL dictates they must forfeit 1/4 of their available high school eligibility, then you need to find another example.

We DO know that (at least) two kids last year transferred to a school that is currently rated academically unacceptable by the TEA, whose parents do not live in the attendance zone to play for a coach who reputation for creative transfers precedes his tenure at this current school, but has certainly been heightened by it.

As most here probably by now know, tonight was KFDM weekend sports anchor Alex Cawley's last Sports Xtra as he is moving to New York state to be closer to family.  I just wanted to tell him thanks for all of the work he has done for SETXsports.  We have had some big boosters of the site, but he is definitely among the biggest.  He is talented, hard working and thoughtful and even survived the episode of attempted career suicide when he put me on Sports Xtra a couple of years ago. Port Arthur's Devonte McMillan, Jaylon Howard and Elandon Roberts of Port Arthur Memorial will be on the Texas roster for the Bayou Bowl next week in Baytown.
