Exactly, according to most College Baseball Coaches they prefer to have Baseball/Football guys as opposed to baseball only guys.

OK, then is simply a matter of them loving Baseball more?

It is a fact that a bond (voted for by the taxpaying citizens of Allen ISD) was passed in order to build a 60 million dollar football stadium for their school.  I am speculating that a parent would rather have their kid play football there than...(insert North Tx school district).
I have close personal friends that coach in DFW and it is explained to me in full detail that when a player doesn't like their current situation for whatever reason it's nothing to simply sign a lease contract with an apartment building in another district and change teams.  It could be something as simple as not liking their current position or even their English teacher.  And if you don't think that's happening in every big city in the state then you're too naive to understand.
Coaches don't have to recruit.. facilities and high paid teachers/coaches are a recruitment strategy in itself. 

Did the "Enterprise" file a Freedom of Information request for the applicants for this job?

RJ is good. Kyler Murray is a 1st round draft pick. There is a difference. Nobody said that's all it takes.
You continue implying that it all takes is a great coach. It doesn't. It takes superior coaching and significant talent. Both. Period. This is a dead horse conversation.

The answer is no. They do not pay well and there facilities are a absolute embarrassment. They like to pretend they take football seriously, but in the grand scheme of the State, they don't. Which is okay. Not every school has to go all out for football and build nice facilities and unload a BRINKS truck for a coach, just don't complain when you don't get the Grand Prize.

Unless a 'pipeline" is opened to Baytown and they strike "oil."

Kountze could get a really good football coach, even without the AD title and money, but it will have to be a Coordinator looking for an opportunity to get his head coaching career started. Now, if he comes in and does a good job and gets things going in the right direction, he will be hard to keep without the AD title and money.

Lol!! Knew it wouldn’t take long.  There was literally not a more successful high school football coach that could have taken the BH job. 
This proves my point that I’ve made too many times to count.

There needs to be an emphasis placed on developing QB's and improving the passing game.

But, it is a perfect posting if you already know who you want to hire and you are trying to keep quality applicants away. Whole lot easier to justify a questionable hire if the competition is slim and none.

Yes, WOS has played for 4 in a row. But, nobody else has even played for 3. That was what was being discussed.
The Senior's at WOS have been a part of a State Championship Game run all 3 years they have been in high school, up to this point (looking for #4).
