Lcm is coming home with the golden football
Now that, I can agree with.
Baring injuries to some key components, LCM is the most complete team in this District.
I will be interested to see how they staff is assembled though, losing Breaux may have an impact.

As much as I hate vidor and pray for their downfall, I strongly believe they will have a more solid team than lumberton. Lcm vs vidor for the district championship.
Not disagreeing and not arguing.
Vidor may very well win the District Championship.
JMO and it is biased, I don't think they do.

How will lumberton do against Lcm next year considering lumby is losing a lot of starters and Lcm is returning %85 of their starters
Game will be for the District Championship and it will be very evenly matched, IMHO.
Edit: Depending on who Lumberton hires and who the OC/DC are......

Trey Allen has been named AD/HC at Navasota.
Kirbyville is now open.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say they promote from within.

That's him. Sorry for the misspelling.
I'm going to go out on a limb and say this job will be open again in 2 years.

Yes, just hire an elite coach and you are on your way to state. Hopefully none of the other 63 teams in your bracket do not figure this out.
Apparently Dayton was not getting the the type of applicants that they desired, job was RE-posted on THSCA today.

Easy answer......Lee due to much better coaching.
With John Launius on staff at Sterling??? Not a chance Lee is better coached.

Seriously…. NFL MVP in 1982.
Unfortunately, Mark and his "Five Guys" have NEVER donated a dime to the Livingston program that I am aware of. Like so many, he has forgotten where he came from.

Remember Bull? The RB. Think the last name was Mays. He was a dude too.
Of course.
Devonte Mays, Lisfranc injury against Beaumont Central his Senior year. If he doesn't get hurt that Livingston team has a chance to make a run in the playoffs. Nederland was the only team better than them when healthy. Bull went to Blinn then onto Utah State. Signed as an undrafted free agent with Green Bay and even dressed a few time I think. Spent time on a couple practice squads.

14-17 applicants and that’s all you need to know about that
Have they stopped taking applications?

Not that I know of, but I hear that there are more than 40 applicants.
Is that a good number?
Low or High?
What is Hemphill looking for? Established leader with head coaching experience or up an coming young coordinator?

Neumann has only been a head coach at Nederland, he was an assistant at several other schools. He brought Ned back to the playoffs the first year he was there , missed the playoffs 2 years and then rattled off 11 straight appearances. And PNG was glad to see him go.
Nederland has some BEAST's on defense in the 4 years I coached against them.
Big, strong, fast and PHYSICAL. They would knock you in the dirt and tell you about it.

Huntington is open as of today per Stepp.
Looking at historical records and the records of the guy that just left, it appears that he did a bit better than anyone else and definitely stayed longer than any other head coach.

Even they don’t really run the Wing T anymore I don’t think… People get bent outta shape about what system to run but if you have the jimmys and Joe’s what offense you run doesn’t necessarily matter for the most part IMO.
It is pretty funny to listen to people talk about scheme and how important it is.
If you have the athletes, any scheme can be successful.
The key is not the scheme, but rather the ability to coach it, make adjustments and the ability of play callers. Every scheme has the ability to run the ball and the opportunity to throw it. Really, it is all about the ability and willingness to call the plays and when to call them. Plenty of pass plays in the wing-t and slot-t playbooks. Coaching matters, but if you don't have the DUDES......

Very well could, but they are going to have to put in a whole new offensive system.
Reyes ran his system and called the plays.
He was actually hiring an Offensive Coordinator before he left, so I really don't think they have anyone qualified on staff to run the offensive side of the ball.
