I don't see any DII team in Region III beating WO-S. That goes for Region IV as well.

Silsbee lost to 2 state champs and runner up in playoffs. Carthage (state champ) in football (3rd round), Yates (runner up) in basketball (3rd round), College Station (state champ) in baseball (5th round).

With the possibility of Dallas Madison getting their basketball championship stripped from them, it could be 3 state champs that took out Silsbee,

It is done like the state basketball tourney. The two teams with the best winning percentage are the top two seeds. Then it's a basic coin flip to see who their opponents are from the remaining two teams.
 
If it ends up being a Region I vs. Region III, Region II vs. Region IV, it's just by coincidence.

I'll take the word from guys who actually coach these kids over a 19-20 year old kid who thinks he knows it all because he is the kid of a local coach.

I think he is stating that Silsbee will finish 3rd or 4th in district, not what round of playoffs.

I agree TxHoops. This Silsbee senior class was one the best athletic classes to ever come thru Silsbee. At least 3rd round of playoffs in football, basketball and baseball the last 3 years, with most those playoff runs ended by state champ or runner up. An incredible run for these young men.
