Since when did Channelview qualify as a Sheldon ISD school? And when did Somerset (the correct spelling) become a Houston area school? That town is about 20 miles southwest of San Antonio. Just because a Houston TV station does a 2 minute bit on Houston Washington (which they should do) doesn't mean there is no respect. Does the Beaumont area TV stations do bits on Houston schools? No. Doesn't mean they don't respect the Houston schools and what some have accomplished. Believe you are really reaching here on this respect gig.

Never. (at least I hope) Until Austin gets rid of or moves SXSW to another time in the year, UIL will never move it back to Austin.

Arena could be better but it's a heck of a lot better than being back in Austin.

I know that Silsbee finished 8/33 from three. Livingston finished 8/18. I'll post FT stats later.

I agree that he could help only if he can keep it together. The win last night may have something to do with him not being there, if you know what I mean.

WO-S slowed the game down last night against HJ and played great defense and forced a halfcourt game on HJ. Had they chose to get up tempo with HJ, the result most likely would have been different. When I watched the 2nd game with Silsbee, WO-S did not handle the pressure very well and turned it over quite a bit. IMO, Mustangs are better off playing halfcourt against Yates.
