With GCM moving up to 6A, I agree that Goose Creek ISD will allow Lee to play where their enrollment puts them. Splendora is a no brainer in not opting up. They just moved to 5A DII. Now not sure what FB ISD wants to do with their schools. They may want them connected in some way or the other but I think they will let Willowridge drop. I agree, I don't see Marshall in the district with PN-G and Nederland.

That would put them in 4A unless they opt up.

Carl Padilla, the Godfather of Texas high school football and creator of the Padilla Poll, is predicting 6A cutoff number to be 2265 based on the fact that 248 schools have turned in numbers greater than that number. This will mean that La Porte will remain 5A DI and West Brook and United will drop to 5A DI.

I think HJ has Hudl or NFHS cameras at their stadium but not sure.

Also, the Jasper/Silsbee game will be on Texan Live so I can watch it when I get home or on my phone at H-D.

Seen Jasper twice and Silsbee three times this season. Want to see other teams. This particular game has a little bit riding on it so I chose this one. I thought about going to Lovelady for Deweyville game but decided I didn't want to drive that far. My grandson has a pee wee football game tomorrow morning at 8am in Orange.

Need a good place to have my pregame meal for this game. Right now it's Los Compadres in Hardin that's the destination. But any other options I need to know about let me hear them.

EC made a defensive adjustment after that first OF drive and the Bobcats struggled offensively the rest of the way. Bucs speed on offense was just too much for Orangefield and EC's run game was pretty impressive. The freshman QB for EC will be a good one in the coming years. I see EC getting past Westwood next week but not sure Orangefield can get by Woodville. EC will have to defend the pass extremely well next week. I see them trying to use up clock offensively to keep Westwood offense on the sidelines. Woodville will utilize their team speed like EC did to gain an advantage over Orangefield but the Bobcats will have to play keep away too if they have any chance next week. But for tonight, EC was the much better team and the scoreboard showed it.
