Just saying Silsbee was willing to play Thursday with another officiating crew if necessary but Jasper wanted to keep that same crew and that crew was not available for Thursday. Is what it is.

Melvin is way off on the facts. There is no conspiracy. UIL ruled the player ineligible in September. He and his mom filed a temporary restraining order to keep the UIL from upholding the ruling. A court allowed the order until the Supreme Court could rule on it. The SC threw the order out so therefore the player became ineligible again. Player, mom and coach all knew he could be ruled ineligible but chose to play the player anyways. UIL under these circumstances had to make this ruling. These conspiracy theories about UT influencing these type decisions for the UIL is laughable.

They have one fact wrong. Jasper leads the series 43-33-2 and not 45-31-2.

Pretty easy call. The head coach with the longest tenure at one school currently is Kevin Foster at Big Sandy. I would say Joubert at Kountze and English at Nederland would be the next two.
