I am 36-4 ($100) and 35-5 ($250). Lost Vandy game. Still lead 100 pool. Tied for 1st in 250. Need an 8-0 day today. Got Zona, Kansas, UConn, Purdue, Florida, Bama, Virginia and Iowa St in $250. Same for $100 except for Kansas. I have St. John's in that game.

No. Just have to have a better bracket than the others that are playing in your pool. My $100 bracket pool has 14 of us playing. $250 bracket pool there is 8 of us. I am in two other pools. One is $25 and the other is $20. It's all point based. So many points for correct picks in 1st round, then 2nd round, then 3rd, etc. Point's per win get greater each round. I am leading in both my $100 and $250 pools. $250 pool is winner take all. $100 is 1st and 2nd.

I get it. Don't have to miss him. Not asking him to. But can also not say a single word. Pretty easy to do if you ask me. I also agree with you about all our leaders. But he is the ultimate leader so lead by example is what I say. Politics is so ugly these days. Case in point this forum. I hate that it is this way.

In my $100 pool, I am 34-3. Only loss today so far is tu/Zaga. In my $250 pool, I am 33-4. Same loss today. I have Illini, Vandy and Arkansas in the remaining three games for both brackets.

I stand by that a POTUS should not be making these kind of comments. Should be held to a higher standard. Us every day Joes, not so much. I want my President to show a little class in these type situations. Just completely unnecessary to make those comments.

What would be the reason for the decline from 25 years ago if he is an "elite" coach? Did he lose his "elite" coaching abilities?

Question. In your opinion, can an "elite" coach no longer be an "elite" coach? Or is he/she always an "elite" coach? Example. A coach wins two state championships in his first 5 years of coaching after taking over for a coach who had won 6 titles in 15 seasons. Previous coach built a top notch program. Then the next 25 years the coach doesn't win a state championship. In fact, he has a few losing seasons. Is he still "elite" because of those two state titles from 25 years ago?

My point being that they couldn't agree on an inside (Bronson) hire. Doesn't necessarily mean they couldn't agree on someone outside.

I had NC over VCU in my big money brackets. Had VCU in a couple of my small money pools. Took A&M and tu in my big money brackets. In my big brackets I am 11-1 thru first 12 games.

Glad I am subsidizing my income with poker and sports gambling.

I had HP in three of my brackets. Two of those were in a $100 and $250 bracket pools.

Coach Sigler had more than 4 years of missing playoffs in his 39 year career. Sigler was head coach at Silsbee for 30 years but had 9 years at other places. Is overall record is 874-402. His record at Silsbee was 717-260. That means he was 157-142 in the other 9 years at Livingston and Clarksville. He missed the playoffs at Livingston at least 3 seasons that I know of. At Silsbee, I believe he missed 3 times in his first stint at Silsbee (1988-2002). Second time (2012-2025) he never missed the playoffs. In fact, in those 14 seasons in his 2nd stint, he made the regional tournament every year but three (2013, 2014, 2025). Was regional champ 5 times. As for Coach Green, I am not sure on how many times he missed with Kountze, Beaumont Central, Fort Bend Hightower and North Shore.
