Was in a boat fishing in East Bay. Didn't know about it until around 1pm when I got back to Stingaree boat ramp to clean fish. Spent the rest of the day watching it on the tube at beach cabin.

Anahuac turned the ball over (INT, two fumbles) on their first three possessions. Liberty took advantage of those turnovers and converted it to a 13-0 lead in 1st quarter. Anahuac finally got their offense going and made adjustments defensively and more importantly stopped turning it over. Passing game started hitting big plays and was able to get to the edges in the run game. Neither defense showed that they can be dominant. Both are small up front. I was expecting sort of a shootout. Something in the 40 something to 30 something game. Turnovers kind of thwarted that some. Was still a good competitive game which I expected.
