I got it going this way: 1. WO-S 2. Silsbee 3. HF 4. Jasper 5. Shepherd 6. Tarkington A couple of DCTF guys has Silsbee winning district and being a regional favorite.

2-1 win over Seattle. Hader now 13 for 13 in saves. Framber with another quality start and the win.

I guess folks don't remember that Hickman was on staff at WO-S for 6 years when he was promoted (not hired) as the AD/HC.

I get it. Wins and losses is all that matters. But I post the stats to show that if a team continues to be top 5 in hitting and top 5 in pitching in their league (also the only team in their division that can say that) then over a 162 game season, that kind of play will end up winning the West Division. Houston also has the best run differential in their division. Right now, the Astros just can't string wins together for whatever reason. I just think in time, this current play will pay off and get enough wins to win the division. Now if Houston was playing in the other two divisions, they definitely would need to up their game some to make playoffs.

I'm not saying you are. But you have to understand from my point that when the government starts talking about making cuts to programs that benefit folks like my son, I get a little worried. The government has thrown the baby out with the bath water on some occasions. That's all I am saying.

Silsbee folks need to remember, both Joe Sigler and Travis Williams had never been head coaches when they were first hired to be head coaches at Silsbee. Both were assistants at the time. Sigler at Silsbee, Williams at Kountze.

I think the question is why was doing bear crawls on a hot track one of the options? Need to have a little more sense. If this was being done at the football stadium, then why weren't the bear crawls done on the field instead of the track?
