I'll get to see Lufkin come Thursday in their scrimmage with Huntsville. I'll be on the sidelines. Not making that awful climb up to that terrible press box. Hate that climb! Was glad to see they will be building a new press box with an elevator. Been a long time coming.

The only flaw I saw with this stadium was the endzone seating. It's much too far from the playing field. IMO, that seating is unnecessary. It would have been better to eliminate that seating and add to the 2nd decks on each side. But that would require moving back the press box. That was the only complaint I heard from folks who went to the stadium last season and had to sit in endzone seats. Just too far from the action.

That last sentence is a massive understatement. But we also need someone to solidify being the 4th starter in the rotation. Houston having to use 17 different starting pitchers this season kind of sums up their season.

Beau Breeden, transfer QB from Lumberton who played JV last year, has been cleared for contact after suffering an injury last season. He will play in scrimmage vs. Lumberton this Thursday.

I knew he was originally from Center. Didn't know about the SA connection. SA did get some key transfers for this season. Will be keeping an eye on those guys this year.

Ethan Pecko is being called up from the minors and will start in the series against the Angels. He will become the 17th different pitcher to start a game for Houston this season.

Not in my world they don't exist. lol

IMO, there is no such thing as a $1000 fountain pen. I can get a bag of pens at WalMart for $10 that does the exact same thing.

All these questions and concerns. All I am trying to do is find my lost shaker of salt.

Astros lose 3-2. Houston pitching had 7 walks, Seattle had 2. Both had 9 K's and each team had 8 hits. Lead is still 2 games over Arlington but now 4 over Seattle. Seattle has owned Houston this season winning 9 of the 11 games. They only play two more times.

Brown can't find the strike zone. Has walked 5 in 3 and 2/3rds.

It's actually a 3 way with those two and Lexington. Scrimmage is actually in Lexington.

The schedules posted here for Hardin-Jefferson and Orangefield both have it HJ at Orangefield on the 28th. The private school teams schedules have not been updated. It clearly is tagged 2025 schedule in the topic.

Barbers Hill can still be covered. Anyone can post threads about Barbers Hill. Schedule or game threads can be posted. We are not banning BH talk from the site. We are just not covering the district they are now in. Not a single one of those schools besides BH have we ever covered here. One coverage team in a district is simply not enough to warrant us covering the entire district. Have to draw the line somewhere. You are incorrect about BH always have been covered here. The site started in 2005. I have been here since the start. We did not cover BH when we started the site. Didn't incorporate them in the coverage area until around 2007. Our coverage policy has always been the same. It takes at minimum 3-4 core teams in a district for us to cover that district. It is what it is.
