You are not likely winning this game. No point in using up arms. After it got to 14-2, I would have had no problem leaving King in for another inning. Game was over at that point.

Mainly because you are down 14-2 and it's no reason to use up other bull pen arms in this game.

Alto/San Augustine scrimmage Controlled part: Alto 1 TD SA 3 TD's Live quarter SA dominated. Score was 13-0. Alto never got it pass their own 40 yard line. Scrimmage ended after an Alto player went down with a very severe leg injury.

That's not good. Is he trying to force throws?

On this series, SA ran the spread like normal but after reaching the 10 yard line they went to a double wing. That didn't work. Lost yards on two plays. Went back to spread and scored.

Alto's 2nd offensive series resulted in no scores. Moved the ball well but got shut down inside the 20. Controlled scrimmage ended 1-1. Looks like they are about to go live for a quarter.

The IMG transfer Canton is not suited up for San Augustine tonight. Do see him on the sidelines though.

SA offense looks better on their second series. Passing game in particular. Scored a TD.

Are we complaining about officials in a scrimmage? SMH

After both first teams first offensive series, Alto scored 1 TD, SA did not score.

San Augustine went on offense first. Moved the ball some but did not score. Alto on offense scored on their 4th play from scrimmage.

That's a severe understatement. Lot's of times he is hard to listen to.

Well unfortunately I will not be attending any scrimmages this week. Tested positive for Covid. Hope there are some live streams available. Only one I saw of a coverage area team is Alto at San Augustine Thursday night.

Astros lose 3-1. Pretty obvious what lost the game tonight. Houston pitching gave up 3 runs which is 1.5 runs less than their team ERA coming into this game. Houston scored just 1 run on 3 hits. The one run is 3.5 runs under their season average. Offense lost this one tonight. Pitching did fine. Houston leads Arlington by 1 game.

What about the couple of series before? What IF they play like that? Houston is 16-8 in their last 24 games. 3-3 in the last two series. Currently, the Rangers are tied with the Twins and the Blue Jays for the final playoff spot. Astros have a 2 game lead on all three. IF the Astros continue to play like they have since the All Star break, they will win the division by 5+ games. Two can play this "if" game.
