I have posted the play in games for Furr, Wheatley and Worthing in the Play in/Seed/Warm up thread. This thread is for Bi-District games only.

Good question. He or some Jasper peeps would have to answer that question. I was just repeating what a Jasper person told me.

Some play in games that will effect our coverage area teams: 20-5A D1 #1 seed La Porte vs. Angleton Friday, 7pm Santa Fe HS Winner gets Baytown Sterling Loser gets Beaumont West Brook 20-4A Three Way Play in for final spot Houston Furr vs. Houston Wheatley Friday, 5:30pm Barnett Fieldhouse Winner vs. Houston Worthing Friday, two hours after completion of 1st game. If Wheatley or Worthing make playoffs, they will play Hardin-Jefferson in 1st round. If Furr makes playoffs, Furr will go D1 and play Livingston. That will send Washington to D2 and they will play Hardin-Jefferson. Mickey Leland would then play Huffman.

I agree. But I will not post game info that is speculated. Only set playoff match ups.

How can that game be scheduled if Furr were to make the playoffs? That would send Washington to D2.

Key words "used to be". I guarantee FB Travis job pays more than Jasper. As for being forced out? I don't think so but there are some powers in Jasper who aren't happy with how the athletic program had fallen so hard. Him living in an apartment and wife staying in their home in Manvel tells me he was in Jasper only temporarily.

His wife was still living and working in that area. They never sold their house in Manvel. Crumedy was living in an apartment in Jasper and both were traveling back and forth. FB Travis went 8-3 last year, finishing 2nd in district. Jasper was 2-8 this past season, missing the playoffs for first time in 15 years, 6-15 the last two seasons.

Been sitting on this info for over a week now. Good luck to Coach Crumedy. I have heard that Malcom Bronson will get serious consideration for this job.
