I'm all for a panel to do the rankings. But it is much easier for just me to do it. Some of the guys I had help do it (not you bullets13) were not putting much effort in which really would skew the composite. They simply were not paying much attention and was just mailing it in. IMO it wasn't a good accurate ranking. (not that all rankings are accurate) I do agree with your point about ranking 8 over 12. Only problem is 4A/3A having a dozen more teams than 6A/5A and 2A/1A. You would be ranking the top 1/3 in those two while only ranking the top 1/4 in 4A/3A.

Tigers have a punchers chance in this one. Kind of reminds me of how Bellville demolished Silsbee in 2023 but then the Tigers avenged that loss the next season. La Vega whooped Silsbee last year. Will the Tigers return the favor?

Word I received is that Bailey will not play against Ennis but is hopeful to play in 3rd round. I have been told the extent of his injuries but that doesn't need to be publicized here. That's for his family and school to announce.
