After watching most of the teams in this tourney, I would have to say that HJ played the best. I was impressed with the Hawks, they are just flat out good, extremely well coached. I did not see the Kountze/Bullard game but heard Bullard came to play. Pleasant Grove was very disappointing to me. That do not shoot the ball very well and do not defend very well. I look for a Kountze/HJ final.

Silsbee will take on West Brook in the second round of the YMBL/BISD Invitational tournament at 3pm in the Montagne Center. Silsbee took down Aldine Eisenhower 70-34 while West Brook defeated a game Nederland 55-51. The winner of this game will play the winner of the Westbury Christian/Killeen Harker Heights game on Saturday at 11am in the Montagne. Broadcast time for this game will be 10 minutes prior to tipoff which is scheduled for 3pm. This is the first of 4 games that SETXsports will broadcast on Friday.
