Bottom line, they miss Acie Law at the point. They just don't have that guard that can take the game in his hands and either win it or make his teammates better down the stretch. Their inside game is much better than last year, but if you can't get the ball to them, it doesn't really matter. Still a long ways to go. Hopefully this is the wakeup call they needed. Otherwise we maybe seeing the true Aggie team, more hype than substance. I hope not.

There's no doubt Bailey is a fine athlete. I wasn't too impressed with his basketball game against my Tigers. Silsbee really gave him fits, Bailey only scored 4 points in the first half. He did finish with 18 but most of those came in trash time after Silsbee had built a 25 point lead. He is very quick though, but didn't seem to shoot it very well against Silsbee. What did impress me about him was how small he is. He can't be more than '5"6-'5"7 and 150-155 pounds. He plays MUCH BIGGER than that on the football field, my Tigers can attest to that.

I don't think that's official just yet, but that's what I had heard too. I haven't talked to his mother in a while, will try to catch up with her soon. We play golf together occasionaly, we both are members of Silsbee CC. I haven't played in a while( not a cold weather golfer) but I should see her soon and find out the scoop. I did hear that he had uncommitted to U of H when Briles left but I don't know if it was because of him leaving or the new coach not wanting Daniel. It's cougar high's lost as far as I'm concerned. Daniel will be a fine college player.

Tough loss for the Bobcats, I really thought they would take this one. It's all about the matchups. Who were the players that missed for Orangefield?

Lamar is the most respected school whether they admnit it or not. SFA had its largest crowd....Lamar. They have to shoot lights out to win.
