  1. I am awaiting the word from our super mod GoStangs to see if this is or isn't a copywrite infringement. May have to delete this. :
  2. How could I not pick Vidor when I have them winning the district? I will not be surprised if Central wins, but I am sticking with my pick.
  3. Other than '05, what I see is that the last 7 games could have easily gone either way. The trend is that these teams are playing very close games between the two in recent years, outside of '05.
  4. Coaches have to be careful who they schedule with the upcoming realignment. Right now, 21-3A schools have 5 non-district games, but if the realignment moves more schools into the district like it was a few years ago, then they will only have 3. I imagine that all the coaches are setting up their first 3 games for sure and then see how the realignment goes.
  5. I knew you would come through. Some people just ain't patient enough. AAW, notice that the game between Spurger and Silsbee has been moved to Spurger. Yes, I noticed that. I wonder why? It is the last non-district game for both teams. Friday night game, I'll be there with my headset on.
  6. Silsbee= DOMINATION!!!!! ;D
  7. Small and bring a leaf blower and limb trimmer with you.
  8. FUN FUN FUN till jdawg takes the T-bird away!!!! ;D
  9. "Fight breaks out in crows nest at Zaharias, SETXsports.com broadcaster quoted as saying, " The BISD AD stole my chair!!!!" "Reports out of Orange have Hooks looking into a possible movie role, states he always wanted to do a comedy" "Local tv weatherman jailed for assaulting a SETXsports broadcaster, sites he had enough of the aggravation" follow up to assault story: "SETXsports broadcaster doing well, asks, "Did WOS win this week?, he was then admitted back into the hospital for more tests" ( WOS is off this week)
  10. I think I'll try some of this pie. Looks as though I have beaten down the others into submission. Vidor wins this one because of their sheer dominant run game. Those biguns up front will simply steamroll those puny Jags. Vidor 42 Central 14 Okay, how's that for continuing the trash talk? I imagine Coop is very glad. ;D
  11. Thanks for the invite. Actually I do have something to do Friday night. I will be broadcasting the East Chambers @ Buna game for this site. I still need a color man to help do that game. Maybe Coop can come help me out? ;D
  12. He's my hero!!
  13. I don't know what I am going to do the rest of this week and weekend with WOS ( oh, and Silsbee too ) being off this Friday night. What in the world will I be able to talk about? I know, the weather!!! :
  14. You gotta love it, Frito, you gotta love it!
  15. Caused by that great Jasper defense.
  16. Apparently the Jasper defense was much better.
  17. Here was Coach Hooks take on the Jasper/WOS game: AirPlay Still too early to panic, or think playoffs by Gary Stelly You could assume that practice on Monday morning at West Orange-Stark probably wasn’t a pleasant one if you wear a varsity helmet. For the second straight week the Mustang offense sputtered although the Jasper defense had something to do with that. The Mustang “O” didn’t reach the red zone until the fourth quarter and lost 23-13 to the Bulldogs. It was their first loss of the season after starting the year with three straight wins. Besides the excellent pressure that Jasper put on WOS quarterback Reggie Garrett, there were plenty of dropped passes, especially in the second half. Was it the surprise rain that caused the problems? After the game Coach Hooks responded, “The wet ball didn’t bother Jasper! But it sure bothered us. The bottom line is that right now, we have athletes and Jasper has football players.” The Mustang defense was awesome as Jasper didn’t score an offensive touchdown until the fourth quarter. They held the Bulldogs three times in the red zone that resulted in short field goals. The other Bulldog score came on defense when an interception was returned for a touchdown. Jasper first year coach Mike Bickham did an excellent job of preparing for WOS. They seemed to be in their huddle when many of their plays were called. But while some WOS fans want to sharpen the guillotine, they’re still 3-1 on the season. And losing their spot in the top ten doesn’t matter. They’ll get this week off to work on whatever problems they’ve found on film, and then hit the road on Oct. 2 to play Brookshire-Royal before they’re next big game, the district opener at Silsbee.
  18. The WOS coaches requested this thread be locked. Thank you for your support.
  19. Yea, the Aggie one was great. It is still up on our college football forum. It's great stuff.
  20. I am sorry, but Beaumont Central should at least be included in the Region III top 15.
  21. I knew you would come through. Some people just ain't patient enough.
  22. Yes. I thought the Aggie one was freaking hilarious! Notice it is still on our site. Again, some folks are so sensitive. :
