  1. Mitchell - ugh. It seemed like every time I turned around he was at bat. Ask Joey, every time he came up all I could say was "Didn't he just freaking bat??" :D What about that defensive back that mowed down your whorns? ;D
  2. The predicted starting five for Silsbee will be '5"9 Hill, '6"2 Lane, '6"4 Stallworth, '6"7 Barnes, '6"7 Thomas. But, Silsbee may not start both bigmen. They could go with '6"0 Bolton, '6"2 Harris, or '6"3 Johnson on the wing. :o No shooting guards!!!!! Totally different team for Silsbee this year. Last year with Byers, Walters and Robinson shooting outside and now teams should be able to pack it in on them and make them beat you with the bigs or beat you from outside. Very true, Lazeek. I spoke with Travis and Ira and they both commented that this will be a very different Silsbee team this coming season. They will try to take advantage of their size and make it a half court game. You will most likely see scores in the 40's, 50's, and 60's from the Tigers rather than the 70's, 80's and 90's. They still have a couple of shooters coming up from the JV, but not as prolific as the three that has graduated. It will be very interesting to see this type of Silsbee team play. One advantage I see, we will have a taller PG('6"2 Lane) which should enable him to get some passes inside.
  3. The right fielder Mitchell was impressive too. Great speed and very good bat.
  4. we'll see who's crying in Pasadena in January time for a lil payback--if LSU can hold their part of the deal Newsflash!! Neither team will be playing for a National title come January. You ready to lose some of that money you just won. ;D You name the price. You can have tu and LSU, I'll take the field.
  5. Speaking of football, how about those two football players that LSU had playing? My wife and I was very impressed with the safety that turned outfielder to relief pitcher. He did an outstanding job in the 2 innings he pitched last night.

  7. You agree what coop, that there won't be anymore buses running in WOS. News Flashback to 2008 them Tigers beat WOS everywhere but the score board. ;D ;D ;D ;D Which is the only place it matters. So true.
  8. My predictions for Lumberton: Lumberton Raiders Aug. 28 Hamshire-Fannett win Sept. 4 @ Barbers Hill win Sept. 11 Silsbee loss Sept. 18 OPEN Sept. 25 @ Livingston* win Oct. 2 Vidor* loss Oct. 9 @ Beaumont Central* loss Oct. 16 @ Beaumont Ozen* (Alex Durley Stadium) win Oct. 23 Port Neches-Groves* win Oct. 30 @ Little Cypress-Mauriceville* win Nov. 6 Nederland* loss 6-4 regular season, 3rd in district
  9. Like I said, I went where the money was. I would have enjoyed making $500 off of an LSU loss just as much as the tu loss. The problem was, I could not get any LSU fan to bet me. Either they were scared or tu fans are just born suckers. ;D My wife pulled for LSU because she has ties to that school, even though she is an Aggie.

  11. Hey scooter, didn't you know there is no crying in baseball? ;D
  12. Where are all the t-sip fans( actually, just baddog ) congratulating the LSU Tigers? Boy, what sore losers. :
  13. Snook, hands down. 10 state titles, 8 in a row, nuff said.
  14. I am $500 dollars richer!!! Thank you LSU!!!!
  15. Of the Twin County Pee Wee league?
  16. I believe Silsbee is scrimmaging Nederland and LCM.
  17. The Saturday and Sunday rounds were pretty tough. Most of the pin placements were brutal.
  18. This Aggie pulls for the t-sips, just not tonight when I have money on the line. Funny how the whorn fans never pull for their conference or state. :
  19. Yes you will. My wife and I will celebrate also. She will celebrate the Tigers winning and I will celebrate winning $300 from a t-sip friend of mine.
  20. Tigers beat the t-sips tonight, 9-5. My wife is pulling for LSU, I am pulling for whoever wins me the most money. I am still hanging on to that preseason #1 ranking that my Aggies had.
  21. Nope. I shoot 73-73-82 to not even place in the 2nd flight. I should have played Presidential, would have taken 2nd.

  23. Mud on the ball. > That's one of the few things I hate while playing.
  24. I agree. This year, Jeremy will have to have a great game offensively, running and throwing. Our defense will not be as good as last year's team but they will still be pretty good. I believe our offense will be much better this year. I don't look for this game to be a low scoring affair like last year. The winner of this game will score 3 or 4 td's.
