Seeing that 5A sends four teams to the playoffs, the window for any 5A or 4A team to play a warmup game is very small. Last district game is on Feb. 16th, for all classifications. Then you have that Friday and Saturday, 19th and 20th, to play off any district ties. The playoffs start on Feb. 22-23, Monday and Tuesday of the next week. 5A and 4A will start their playoff games then, no team gets a bye. 3A-1A starts on those days too except for district champions who get a first round bye. District champs or #1 seeds will start on Feb. 25-27. The only chance a 5A or 4A has to play a warmup game is on the 19th or 20th, as long as they are not involved in any district tiebreaker games. It is quite possible that a 3A-1A #1 seed could find themselves not playing a game for more than 10 days if they are not involved in any tiebreaker games and cannot find any warmup opponents.

His great athletic ability was already showing on the defensive end of the floor. To me, it was just a matter of time for his offense to start coming around. He wouldn't have been an offensive leader, mind you, but he would have eventually made good contributions on that end. But, now, we'll never know. With that said, I do agree with you LAZEEK that losing one of those three that you mentioned would definetly impact the team much greater. In fact, I will throw in Avory Thomas too as a player we cannot afford to lose. This team is still very capable of accomplishing the goal that they set out for with out JJ. I have all the confidence in them that they can do it.
what happen why isn't JJ playing
He quit the team after the YMBL tourney. -

He is here making a house call to star recruit Jeremy Johnson. I am making arrangements to try and get Coach Stewert on at halftime. Stay tuned.
Hope we get to hear you interview him but I am mindful of the fact that he may be talking with Swag at halftime
I imagine that Swag will be at the Kountze/Hardin game or possibly make the trip up to Newton to watch his nephew play. ;) -

Johnson is a senior and had better numbers.
Think about who is voting! How many times did you see Silsbee on TV? No slight to Johnsons season, but the PNG vote will overshadow the Silsbee vote. Not fair, but true. If KVille hadn't made it to the title, Harmon would probably win the award. In all fairness I think Reyes had the best season when yo take into account who they played and beat. Just my opinion.
Then how do you account for Silsbee players winning the award in the past? I saw Silsbee on the tube as much as I saw PNG. ;) It may not be fair, but trust me, the national hype in the recruiting carries some weight when this award is considered. ;)

Bradshaw played for Evadale in the Woodville tourney last week, every game. The Maxpreps thing is probably wrong. -
90-57 A&M wins. >:(
That's about what I expected. 30 point loss on the road to a top 10 nationally ranked team.
I agree with the offense, Ford wins it, but Harmon would finish second (Senior). Beard won't make it. Maybe someone from WOS defense (Haynes) or KVille.
