I agree. Coach Sanders has the Lady Tigers really playing well right now. They are growing more confident with each and every game. They started out shakey, going 1-7, but they have won 12 of their last 14 games, with a few of those wins over teams they lost to earlier in the season. Some folks thought Silsbee would be way down this year, but Coach Sanders has turned it around in just his first year. Congrats on the season so far!!! Lady Tigers will definetly be in the mix for a playoff spot and maybe even a shot at the district title.

BTW, are you just asking about seniors only?

Actually, as for the two at Memorial, one has signed with Lamar (post player) and PG Shaquille White has signed with UT-Arlington. Avory Thomas, '6"6 post player for Silsbee is getting some looks from some JC's and a couple of DII schools. No other senior on the team is getting any looks. I have heard talk on other players from the area, but do not know for certain. I will get back with ya on this. ;)

FYI, Silsbee trailed the first 3 minutes of this game 12-7.  ;) Halftime score was 59-34. 25 point lead. You want to use a "killing" analogy. ::) Here's an analogy for you. One kills in self defense, the other committs murder. Both victims are dead, but only one person goes to jail. ;) Here's another: A person is killed by a single gunshot wound, while another is killed by a single gunshot wound but then is continued to be shot another 100 times. Aren't these analogies pretty silly? ;D I find it unbelievable that you can't see the difference of a team winning by 135 while pressing the entire game to a team winning by 71 that didn't.

I agree. Had Silsbee continued to play in the manner that Yates played the ENTIRE game, then Silsbee would have beaten Legacy by a simuliar score that Yates beat Lee.

You  shoulda have stpped at 100!   [/quote] My problem with Yates was not that they scored 170 points, but how they scored those points. Again, Yates continued to press, Silsbee never pressed in the 2nd half. Also, they did not attempt any 3 point shots late in the game. Legacy dictated how this game got this way, Yates dictated the result of their game. I am not for completely shutting it down and refusing to score. But if you can't see the difference in these two games, you're not that smart to begin with.
