  1. I don't know what I am going to do the rest of this week and weekend with WOS ( oh, and Silsbee too ) being off this Friday night. What in the world will I be able to talk about? I know, the weather!!! :
  2. You gotta love it, Frito, you gotta love it!
  3. Caused by that great Jasper defense.
  4. Apparently the Jasper defense was much better.
  5. Here was Coach Hooks take on the Jasper/WOS game: AirPlay Still too early to panic, or think playoffs by Gary Stelly You could assume that practice on Monday morning at West Orange-Stark probably wasn’t a pleasant one if you wear a varsity helmet. For the second straight week the Mustang offense sputtered although the Jasper defense had something to do with that. The Mustang “O” didn’t reach the red zone until the fourth quarter and lost 23-13 to the Bulldogs. It was their first loss of the season after starting the year with three straight wins. Besides the excellent pressure that Jasper put on WOS quarterback Reggie Garrett, there were plenty of dropped passes, especially in the second half. Was it the surprise rain that caused the problems? After the game Coach Hooks responded, “The wet ball didn’t bother Jasper! But it sure bothered us. The bottom line is that right now, we have athletes and Jasper has football players.” The Mustang defense was awesome as Jasper didn’t score an offensive touchdown until the fourth quarter. They held the Bulldogs three times in the red zone that resulted in short field goals. The other Bulldog score came on defense when an interception was returned for a touchdown. Jasper first year coach Mike Bickham did an excellent job of preparing for WOS. They seemed to be in their huddle when many of their plays were called. But while some WOS fans want to sharpen the guillotine, they’re still 3-1 on the season. And losing their spot in the top ten doesn’t matter. They’ll get this week off to work on whatever problems they’ve found on film, and then hit the road on Oct. 2 to play Brookshire-Royal before they’re next big game, the district opener at Silsbee.
  6. The WOS coaches requested this thread be locked. Thank you for your support.
  7. Yea, the Aggie one was great. It is still up on our college football forum. It's great stuff.
  8. I am sorry, but Beaumont Central should at least be included in the Region III top 15.
  9. I knew you would come through. Some people just ain't patient enough.
  10. Yes. I thought the Aggie one was freaking hilarious! Notice it is still on our site. Again, some folks are so sensitive. :
  11. DOMINATION!!! right aaw YESSSSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!! ;D
  12. This was our good member Dav-J's piece of work. He should get all the credit. It was just ashame that his original thread got deleted. :
  13. You know, LAZEEK, I would have laughed even if it was about Silsbee. It's just great comedy, regardless of who it makes fun of. (it was just double the good that it was WOS) ;D Some folks are just too sensitive. :
  14. Never said it was you. Why do you quickly get defensive? ;D
  15. Enjoy Sorry Dav-J for someone deleting your original thread. We know who did it, don't we?
  16. Cool, thanks Ashly.
  17. Trust me, there is nothing that Dove can teach me about Texas A&M. You just been schooled, son! Not hardly, BOY.
  18. Trust me, there is nothing that Dove can teach me about Texas A&M.
  19. Hey Gas, let me know what you think of Newton's upgrade to their stadium.
  20. Boy, I tell you, give an Aggie a mile and he wants to take an inch. Give an Aggie a degree, and he prefers a GED! Aggies aren't "given" degrees, they are earned. Then they are called BOSS!! ;D BTW, an inch over a mile is more than a mile. Thought I would help you out in that equation. So who calls you BOSS.......and don't say your wife or I will tell her!!!! Oh no, she is the BOSS!! Masters degree from A&M trumps me. I can remember when A&M was considerd a "hick" school. Curtis Dickey put that school on the map. Nah, Paul "Bear" Bryant did.

  22. If Jasper beats Carthage (not when, skipper) then you'll see Jasper in the top 10. Unless of course they lose other games before they meet Carthage.
