[/quote] In the case of a three way tie where each team defeated the other once, then it goes to a point system. The points stand as follows: BC +10 (1 game) HJ -3 (2 games, finished) OF -7 (1 game) If Silsbee and WOS win out, and HF does not win a game, then OF will need to defeat BC by 9 or more points in their district game to grab that 3rd spot. A BC win or loss by less than 9 points, and the Cards will get 3rd place. The only way HJ can get in is for them to defeat Silsbee or WOS or have HF upset BC. They will not finish ahead of BC or OF in the point tie breaker.

That list I made was in 2007. I would now have to replace Bubba McGallion with Jeremy Johnson at QB for Silsbee.

Orangefield's "field" has had two weeks to recover. It was not played on last week. It should be okay.

Weather conditions? The rain is Thursday night, not Friday night. The field shouldn't be in too bad of shape by game time Friday night.

Don't take this as smack talk, but I just don't see Orangefield winning this game by simply running the ball. The Bobcats will have to throw the ball and be very successful in it to defeat Silsbee. The Tiger defense will not allow Orangefield to just run the ball every play and be successful at it. The teams that have had success against Silsbee's defense has passed the ball. The mixture of run and pass has at times kept the Tigers on their heels. A strictly running team may have some success, but in order to defeat Silsbee, you will have to pass more than 10 times a game, and complete at least 6 of them for good yardage. With Orangefield showing hardly any kind of passing offense, I just don't see them winning this game. Also, with how the Bobcats have given up points on defense, I can see this game being at least a 2 touchdown win for Silsbee. The key for Orangefield will be if they can be successful at the passing game. The Orangefield rushing attack will have some success, but not enough solely to beat Silsbee.

Not just because it was Silsbee...because he was a minor and the allegations. These kids' futures can potentially be turned upside down by allegations and persecutions by adults. I was one of the ones at bat for the Silsbee kids. Don't get me wrong, I am agreeing with you. I honestly didn't want anyone's name revealed, both in this case and the Silsbee case. I am just argueing the fact that these kids are minors. Bolton was a junior, 17 year old when the rape case came down, Franks is 17, all are what the law see's as not being a minor. The conflict of interest, as stated at the meeting, was because of a conflict of interest because school board member Mary Hardin is the high school principal's mother (Paul Hardin). We can drag the minor's name through four pages of posts, but can't post the reason stated at the meeting for a board member to abstain from voting that resulted in a tie. Please, help with the logic here? Explain to me how Franks is a MINOR? He is a senior in high school, therefore he is at least 17 years old, could be 18. Those are legal ages of an adult in the state of Texas. I honestly wished no names would have been brought out, but they did.
