Noticed Silsbee beat teams along the way that beat your son's team. ;)

I guess me and a few others knew what we were talking about after all. ;) ::) Like it was reported to me earlier, the coaches at each school was told to get their fields ready because they did not think the "education center" was going to be ready by week 0.

So I take it that KLVI got the contract to broadcast the football games? Not surprised. ::) I know I was told way back that Lamar was going to "explore" their options on who would radio broadcast their football games. Heard it would go to the highest bidder. Most folks assumed that KLVI would do it and they were right. Good move to keep KLVI as the flagship station for Lamar sports.

The reason you see some of the posters with less games is either they started later in the year in the contest or they missed a week or two. That's why there is a winning percentage. You will make a pick in every game listed for that week. You don't get the choice of games for that week. An incomplete pick results in a loss, I think. That's why everyone should check their picks after they have posted them just to make sure all the games were picked. It's easy sometimes to overlook a game or two.

Just wanted to give kudos to Travis, James and Ira for putting on another great tourney. 23 teams, over 50 games in three days, with all the top area teams represented. Great job!! Looking forward to this coming season.
