1. Done deal!! I am  :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X :-X (at least I was told to  :-X) ;D ;D
 2.

Agree that things are looking up for Central...Kirbyville started 3 sophs...looked like a JV game out there. Diboll and Center are very close to even....home team usually wins in those.
Whats up with Kirbyville? They have to have some athletes. Do they play football only?
Yes. Sadly, that is all that is emphasized at Kirbyville.
 3. Soulja, you already know my thoughts on this subject. ;) ;D
 4. I made my prediction on the preview show Monday night, should have listened. ;D BTW, Silsbee played Legacy in the first game of the season minus 2 of their starters and two key reserves (all due to football, Silsbee had just finished the football playoffs). That's too much time between games to make any kind of comparison.
 5.

Since when did a scheduled game be classified as a "warmup" game? ;) ;D
What would you call it? I think its akin to some teams who have "warm up" tournaments?  ;)
I would call it a regular season, non-district game that was scheduled well in advance of the start of the season, just like every other game that is on a team's schedule before district play begins, including the first game of the season and tournament games. Most folks consider "warmup" games as those scheduled at the end of district play between two playoff teams that get together to keep fresh going into the playoffs. That's what I would call it. Going by your standards, all games played during the season other than district is considered "warmup" games.
 6. BADSANTA, to my knowledge, Silsbee has never had a player play in the NBA. WNBA, yes, but not NBA. Also, we have had players play in the minor leagues, but none of them made it to the majors in baseball, including my dad.
 7. My reply was not a knock on the scheduling, but just saw it as disrespecting Legacy. Legacy plays lots of local teams, including Silsbee (first game of the season, Silsbee won 114-57). LAZEEK, I don't pay much attention to BADSANTA's posts, but figured others knew better. ;)
 8. Since when did a scheduled game be classified as a "warmup" game? ;) ;D
 9.
And nobody threatened......... Just tired of a "few" Silsbee fans running their mouths and having nothing to show for it.
Refer to my other post LAZEEK about fools. ;)
 10. Everybody has their fools. We have our share.  ::)
 11. Crockett        81 New Waverly  37 Little surprised that New Waverly got it handed to them like that. Crockett starting to hit it's stride.
 12.
Vidor is now 1-3 after that great start? Still think that schedule really cost them.
Beginning to look that way. Vidor has Central Friday night and a loss to the Jags would really get the critics on that schedule. A potential 1-4 start to district would not be good. Still plenty of basketball to be played though.
 13.
Aggie What kind of size does Leggett have?? I see that Evadale is playing them at the halfway point of dist. on a open night.
They are small, no player over '6"1. They only have 8 players on varsity too, but they have very good speed and athleticism. Spurger's post George Whittaker had his way with Leggett tonight, 30 points, 14 rebounds, but still wasn't enough.
 14. 1 minute left in game Leggett  69 Spurger  62
 15. Correction on start time, will be 7:30, not 7pm.
 16. No problem, Spy. You have made very sensible and reasonable posts in regards to Burkeville and Silsbee. It's a few of the others, mainly grinch, that has talked out his you-know-what and is giving the Mustang fans a bad rap. I am smart enough not to include everyone with one person's thinking. Good luck in the rest of the season.
 17. If you read my post correctly, I said "hopefully see" not "will see" you in the playoffs. ;) Trust me, I know who you are. ;) Does this ring a bell: [email protected] ;) ;) ;)
 18.
Aggie are u going to broadcast the Burkeville Spurger game in a few weeks? And it's only like 2-3 stupid bkv fans. All the others are quite mad with the dumb remarks Grinch12 put on here and such. If u do broadcast that game I "The Spy" will shake your hand. And u will be shocked of who I am ;)
First of all, I already know who you are, Mr. E..... ;) Probably will not be broadcasting that game. I am contracted to do all of Silsbee's games. They are off tonight, that's why I am doing the Spurger game. Hopefully I can catch you guys in the playoffs.
 19.
[Hidden Content] the espn 100 in the nation... we were talking about two different things lol... i apologize for any disrespect to silsbee.. i am not trying to take away their signficant accomplishments.. they are a great group of talent and have class... i am sorry about the passing of your father and reading that thread about them coming to the funeral was great and inspirational.. but dont take bkv's rise and accomplishments away either.. jeremy robertson had the 25 last year and they made the playoffs for the first time in 4 years, and they retained everybody... silsbee won by 40 we get that... but burkeville could surprise you.. it was 29-20 when they lost 2 starters for almost 1 quarter and a half... they are good, and ive seen the 3a schools silsbee has smothered and blown out just as bad and worse... they have talent and im glad that bkv is making bkv a name again... GO STANGS!!!!
I am not trying to discredit what Burkeville really is, a good 1A team. What I have a problem with is some of the Burkeville fans, including you, trying to make them to be something that they are not. Suggesting that they can play with Silsbee after getting beat by them by 50 points with Silsbee minus their best player, is ludicrous. Then, state that the PG for the Mustangs abused Silsbee, direct quote, "Silsbee could not even handle" and the player only scores 11 points, is just plain ridiculous. If he is actually averaging 18 points a game, looks as though Silsbee handled him along with every other Mustang player quite well. Burkeville is a good 1A team, nothing more, nothing less.
 20.
;D ;D
:D :) :D :o
Nederland will be there if they get the same draw as last year. They were only 1 win away a year ago.
Wrong. Nederland nor Ball, LaMarque or Yates will be in Sam Houston, like the original question of this thread asked. ;)
 21. But I did mention a PG in my previous post. The ALL-WORLD PG for Burkeville. ;D ::)
